I only had a green tea and it was lovely. A cool place to sit too.

Barista chatting to a friend while 2 people are waiting to be served. The staff are using paper takeaway cups for sitting down customers, those cups are way too small. I received the smallest chai latte and flat white I have ever had so I asked for a bigger cup with some hot water, the barista was not happy, for some reason she found my request too much, rolled her eyes and almost threw the cup on the counter. I feel like I’ve been mugged off and overcharged for what I got.

The coffee is really good. Probably one of the best in the area, which they are probably aware of, which sadly makes service quite rude

I have been here a few times in the morning to get coffee and the lady making the coffee has an attitude problem, whilst waiting she made coffee for two people who came in after me and then finally got my coffee.

Incredibly good coffee (long black easily one of the best in London), and very friendly baristas. Although it was rather busy, service was quick.

Great aromatic cappuccino. Highly recommended.

Wonderful cafe and highly recommended! Our lunch was made with care and attention (even after we’d requested slight tweaks to the listed ingredients). Lattes and teas delicious. Service was prompt and attentive; the staff friendly and efficient. Seating is a mix of indoor and outdoor (under the covered market). Free local area WiFi. We would definitely eat here again.

You can't beat their espresso. It would be hard to find croissants that good in France. And the people who run it are brilliant, nice. They pick good music too. Increasingly a Brixton institution.

One of the best coffees I've had in London! Food was great too and cozy ambience 👍👍👍

An absolute gorgeous place though absolutely terrible customer service!

The worst espresso I ever tasted. I was desperate for caffeine and forced myself to drink it before rinsing my mouth out. Perhaps the milky coffees will be better. Instead DO VISIT SAN MARINO CAFE not far away

Visited the place about 2 weeks ago with my partner. I ordered Red humous on sourdough. The bread was all burned. My partner ordered mozzarella and sun-dried tomato sandwich. The tomatoes tasted very old and disgusting. We complained to the waitress who was very rude but eventually pushed me to bring me a new toast (even I did not wanted it). But at first she said: "it's sourdough it should look like that". The bread was all black and burned, nothing to do with the type of bread. The new toast was burned again. I did not eat it. She did not want to acknowledge that there is something wrong with my partner's sandwich. Paid for 2 meals but left the place hungry and dissatisfied because food was very awful. Very rude waitress ignoring customers. My partner ate half of her sandwich and felt sick after that - even they claimed that there is nothing wrong with the sandwich. Horrible experience, will never go there again. If you want food - avoid this place!

Nice coffee but the music was way too loud to have a conversation and when we asked if it would be possible to turn it down, the waiter said he would try and "see if it was possible" which made us think he wasn't intending to actually do it and it looks like we were right. It's a coffee place not a club! You are supposed to be able to hear each other when siting at a table.
