For whatever reason, no matter when you visit this branch, it is heaving - absolutely full of people. However, perhaps because it is always so busy, there is something that is broken or not on the menu. Several times, I have visited, and the frozen yoghurt machine isn't working, and that is disappointing as it was also the case on my recent visit. There is never an alternative either like gelato or regular ice cream. For the number of times I've visited and the machine isn't working, you would think that they would have a Plan B in place. Additionally, they said that because of being so busy over Christmas, they had no chicken thighs. I prefer the thigh as I find them more moist and flavourful over the breast. Again, disappointing. I would have expected that they would amend the menu to allow you to choose, e.g., the chicken pinto to be made with breast over thigh, but they were inflexible. Overall, a Nandos is pretty consistent across the board wherever you go. But when a branch only has limited ingredients, and it appears to be a regualr occurance, I would have hoped they would show greater flexibility their offering. For that reason, I have given 3 stars.

We visited Nandos in Brixton and it turned out to be an awful experience. When we first arrived the security guard on duty said rudely there were no seats available. I looked around and I saw empty seats but when I pointed this out to him he got very agitated so we decided that we would order out. 1 hour later we were able to collect our order! We asked a manager on duty why the long wait, she said that 6 members of the team had not turned up for work. The most disappointing aspect was that nobody warned us that it would be a long wait and their biggest error was putting the security guard at front of house who had no idea what customer service was. I will revisit Nandos in the future. But not this one!

So much food on the floor and staff just walking past it. Table was sticky as hell. Dirty plates left on tables far too long. Cutlery so dirty had to ask to have it cleaned. Server working at a snails pace. Guy taking order at till charged us for a bottle of wine instead of just a glass, had to have it corrected. Zero hospitality, poor guest experience. When eating out is an expensive treat, as a business you can't expect guests to ever come back.

Excellent service, staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, especially Kerin who waited on our table. We were given a different dessert choice without extra charge because the item we wanted was out of stock.

Reliable, generous and homely.I've occasionally eaten in and have regularly had takeaway food here for the last few years and this place never misses. Seriously. Awwal, the Manager always keeps the atmosphere funny, light-hearted and electric. And the food is always cooked to a good standard no matter how busy it is, so you never have to worry about not getting what you've paid for.The staff and the security are very down-to-earth, chill and generous with their time and effort so you can ask them about anything really and they'll accommodate your needs literally all the time. Or just have a warm, relaxed chat to get rid of the awkward silence while you wait. You won't ever feel like a stranger walking into the place as you put your first foot in the door, you'll get all the attention you deserve.I think Nandos Brixton is definitely the most reliable Nandos I've been to in London and it definitely wouldn't be the same without Awwal who is the superglue that keeps this place running exceptionally.

First time going to this Nando's. The food was very nice, but it wasn't very clean and I had to request someone to clean the chairs. I would probably eat from there again.Kid-friendliness: Good space for children and families.

I arrived at Nandos Brixton at 7.16pm, it is now 9.30pm and I still have not had my food arrive. I am writing this review whilst still waiting for my food.I can take orders being closed, but no dine in orders ready at all. This is absolutely disgraceful. My poor kids are starving, I had to order starters for them !

Sunday lunch celebrating child birthday, great service from a girl who was taking our order, and young gentleman later checking on us and kindly asking if all ok. Delicious food! Thank you for looking after our group. Will come back!

Security, a black man from west Africa I believe I was able to get his name down sorry, was very kind and sat us down at our table, very respectful and treated us as family, person at the tills, lightskin, quite tall with twists hairstyle, I didn’t get his name down was v patient and kind at the till and was checking on us while eating making sure everything went smoothly. Lovely food nice and warm, all the food came down to the table at the same time while being hot despite us being a table of 10. We were missing a side of mash but when the manager came and asked us if we had received everything she was very quick to go and sort that out. A very good Nando’s experience topped with a warm farewell and smile from the security person by the door.

This place has changed a lot since the last time I was in it.The place seemed very understaffed. If it wasn't for one youthful, energetic chap (doing the work of two people), we would have had a long wait for anything. The unkept state of the restaurant was noticeable. Dirty tables with plates and detritus of previous patrons left abandoned. Damaged seating, no bottomless refills (machine's broke mate, sorry!), no branded napkins (although paper towels akin to the ones in the toilet dispensers were offered to use), ketchup bottles all nearly empty, and the horror - dirty cutlery which all had to polished with of the aforementioned paper towels before one could possibly fathom putting it into one's mouth. The food was ordinary. With all this said, I think their problem is staffing or lack thereof it, and the blame for this is in my view anyhow is BREXIT!!!!

I lived here for all my life and the service was always good and the food is still awsome! We waited one hour for our food and if we didn't say anything they wouldn't have even prepare it...because when we went to ask where to food is they panicked and said " we will prepare it now"....After an hour...It's not the kitchens Fault the waiters were doing there best and even in the kitchen you would see them do there best!THE MANAGEGER NEEDS TO GO! the management is awful because if you saw that there are too many orders you stop orders coming in , there is no management at all is non existent. The Manager that was there before was wayyyy better! This one is disgraceful
