I was invited on special occasions and was felt so looked after by everyone,even peaple I did not know them, this is even in mid week . A nice place to chill after a hard day. TV's and plenty of food that tastes lovely even though I did not go there to eat. I would be happy to go there on my own as a woman, or if I could I would love to have an occasion there. Very welcoming,

On Saturday 5th August while attending an event called Garageoke my friends ordered food. First of all we were given a menu and when we went to order food the kitchen staff told us the kitchen was being closed down because of the slow start. But they would do food for us. My friends ordered fries and (Take note) a Vegetarian burger and a beef burger. When these burgers came the server (young man with locs on top and shaved sides ) asked who has the beef, my friend raised her hand and said i take the beef. so he gave her the beef (so we thought) and my other friend the vegetarian burger option. when my vegetarian friend was half way through her burger she said this is a different vegetarian burger than i've had before and my friend with the other burger put her phone light on and we saw it was the vegetarian burger. I told them we need to go up and tell the kitchen. myself and my friend went up and proceeded to explain to the kitchen staff that this had happened. i was met with a lot of gibberish as the kitchen staff told us we should of stated who has beef. i explained three times that we did and that the server should know what one to give as my friend literally held her hand up to say she is the beef option. I also stated when the lady tried to blame my friends that these need to be remade or a refund issued. There was a lot of back and fourth and when i said i would get the lady who ordered the vegetarian burger to come the kitchen staff lady moved forwards to me and told me i was making a big deal. i was not making a big deal but thought it was best to remove myself and allow my other friend to come and say her piece because if she ordered a vegetarian burger it was for a reason and to get either a refund or another burger. The lady was extremely hostile and would not listen she was repeating a lot of things and my friend decided she did not want to eat again or take a refund. My vegetarian friend is in-fact feeling sick today and we left the event we had purchased tickets for and went elsewhere. I am absolutely disappointed and there was no apology given. i would say to customers in future to be mindful of what you receive if your ordering specific items of the menu weather for health conscious reasons, or allergy and dietary reasons. To the lady who we had this "thing" with i want to say it's utterly unprofessional to tell people why your closing the kitchen and then act as if your doing them a favour by cooking food they pay for and lastly shift the blame onto the paying customers who were given the wrong food despite stating who wanted what and to listen regarding dietary or allergy related food orders. Having an intelligent and rational response goes along way in the catering industry. The event that took place there was not the problem it's just a shame the venue comes with this.Vegetarian options: the same be careful to triple check your food although the staff should know who they are handing the food to. especially if you raise your hand and state what dish is yoursDietary restrictions: be careful to triple check your food

Absolutely incredible night - I always get the chicken creamy pasta and it never lets me down if you haven’t tried it you definitely need to everything is well seasoned and fresh it’s always a pleasure coming here the staff and lovely and the atmosphere is beautiful, good food and good vibes deffo is one of the top restaurants in Brixton by far cannot wait to visit again

Staff are okay however, the manager is EXTREMELY misogynistic and arrogant. Due to my additional requirements due to personal struggles. The manager handled it so abruptly to the point he asked security to escort me out. Until his ignorant self decided to actually listen to the additional support I needed and then said I can remain there. So if you do need additional support I wouldn’t suggest this place until further training for those who need additional support is upheld to 2023 standard.A phobia is an anxiety disorder defined by a persistent and excessive fear of an object or situation. Phobias typically result in a rapid onset of fear.No you did not clean the glass with steam in front of me. Absolute lie. My sister was to my defence stating I was not being rude. Your own colleague said I understand but she cannot do anything due to it being her manager. As well as the security sympathising with me.The fact that you cannot learn from this situation shows the ignorance and arrogance and further training which is neded

There was an event I was invited to, so can't really say what it's like on a normal night out but the bar staff were friendly, asked what I wanted straight away, the venue has a pool table, a lot of seating area and as a whole, nice place to hire if having company or organisation staff parties.

I went to the Brickstone tonight and I just had to share this experience. This is definitely a place I recommend, the pizzas are amazing and the cocktails are absolutely amazing. Also the staff is friendly, welcoming and will accommodate you as well as being very open and welcoming. 11/10.

Decided to go here last minute, the pizza was terrific and we asked for cocktails so they made them on the spot, without those cocktails being on the menu. The staff was also really kind, highly recommend!

What great food! We got the pasta bolognese and the grilled chicken sandwich. Also the cheesy garlic bread appetizer with aioli. Everything was delicious. Staff also shared some authentic eithiopan food on injera that was the highlight of our visit. This place is a hidden gem.

Hidden gem in the Brixton area! We spent our last evening in London here and had an incredible dinner with wonderful service! Definitely recommend and if we come back to London, we will make this one of our first stops!
