Great garden can't wait for the summer!. Prices are good staff are friendly. pool table has a decent cloth but if u have your own cue I'd bring with as pub ques aren't great.

Whoever does their social media should be promptly sacked. Kelsey Parker has today done an Instagram post about her book detailing how she lost her husband (and father of her two tiny children) to a brain tumour at a very young age which is, clearly, tragic and devastating. However, the social media account linked to this pub has commented 'Must have been really HARD' with an aubergine emoji, laughing emojis and a rolling eyes emoji. I find this tasteless, disgusting and entirely without compassion or empathy. Who makes fun of a young widow?!

Went on a trip to Brighton Racecourse meeting at the pub at for 10.30am to pick up coach. After days racing returned to the pub for a couple of pints with my 2 friends before heading home to Plumstead.

Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, great beer. Will definitely visit again, and that's the highest recommendation there is.

It's big and it's got lots of beer. And as a bonus, the staff were rather friendly too.
