There was a woman at front of house with blonde hair. I think her name was Rosi. Let me tell you please that she was extraordinary. I would have travelled to buy a packet of crisps from her. She was so passionate about the food when I called to make a booking. On the night she was an exemplary ambassador. I will certainly be booking again. Absolutely wonderful ambience and food. A lot of love clearly goes into the food and service.

Went to the Nandine on Camberwell Church St which I can't find on TA. It was fantastic! Really cute little place, busy on a Sunday night with great atmosphere. Food was amazing and service brilliant! The mezze starters were gorgeous, and the veggie platter and chicken skewers just brilliant. No room for dessert ... but we did find it for the baklava and tahini ice cream. Yum!

Absolutely fabulous food, the best we’ve eaten in a very, very long time. Each dish had its own unique flavour and was cooked to perfection. We couldn’t fault anything. The service was excellent, with attention to detail and a desire by staff to ensure our experience was special. The owner Pery was on hand to explain the dishes we enquired about and along with the manager and waiting staff guaranteed high levels of customer service. We’ve already recommended Nandines to friends/family, the food was that good! It’s great to have such an excellent restaurant that we can call our local, knowing the ingredients to all dishes are locally sourced and prepared by someone who is passionate about each dish that leaves the kitchen and graces customer’s tables. Thank you! Jenni, Terrence, John and Julie.

Super delicious food and friendly service - my favourite cafe in the area by far. I heartily recommend it!

First time visited today for brunch and would thoroughly recommend and definitely go back. The tastes of the food were wonderful. The lamb in both the Mexlama and the kebab was wonderfully smooth and perfectly cooked. Loved the mezze dips, baklava and a great bottle of organic red. The staff couldn’t have been nicer too. Well worth the visit. What a lovely restaurant.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We were taken here by my brother and honestly if I was walking past probably would not have gone in but I’m so glad we did. The restaurant serves amazing food, it’s Kurdish/Middle Eastern and that means lovely colours and flavours. The best thing to do is pick lots of dishes and try the various dishes. The service is also good and they are so helpful. If you fancy trying something different and enjoy these great menu choices you have to give this place a try. It’s also great value for money.

I’ve been to Nandine’s several times over the years. I love the food and the atmosphere. I am glad to see them still going in these difficult times. However, I visited last night with two friends and was very disappointed with the service. We had 3 different servers over the course of the meal who didn’t seem to be communicating with each other. The first server seemed to want us to order more food than we wanted. Then there were errors with our drinks and dessert orders. We asked what the spices were in one of the (delicious) dishes we were eating, the answer came back from the kitchen that it was ‘a secret’ - not great, what happens if someone has allergies? We were given the dessert menu and ordered, only to be told by a different server that we had only 10 minutes left before the next booking arrived. A server then came up holding empty tea cups for the tea we had ordered asking if we still wanted the tea as we only had 10 minutes left. Basically, different servers told us at least 4 times that we had only 10 minutes left or that they needed the table back. I completely understand that these are tough times for small restaurants and they need to keep up the profit margins. Whilst the staff were friendly enough, we felt rushed and it spoiled the meal. It’s important to remember the ‘hospitality’ element of the dining experience. There’s got to be a better way of making customers feel valued whilst protecting their bottom line.

Really tasty brunch that exceeded expectations. Nice atmosphere, good service and tasty food. At £30 per person with a few cocktails, shared dips and baklava and a main each - this felt like good value. We would definitely return.

Cant rate this place highly enough. Lovely little place, very intimate. The service is great and the food is just sensational. We cant wait to come back. Even the cocktails were great with a Kurdish twist. Some of the best bread we've ever had and seabass was superb.

Starters and fresh bread was good, Mocktail, Seabass and chicken wings marinated in lemon, was so sour-not enjoyable!

Wonderful dinner with my husband last Saturday night. I got the aubergine starter and it was wonderful. Incredibly moreish. Likewise the seasoned pita bread that accompanied it. The tirshak is quite a large dumpling. The dish is good but not even as flavourful as the aubergine starter. My husband got the HUGE lamb dish and he loved it. The baklava is DIVINE!! Crispy, sweet but not overtly so. The chocolate one in particular is delicious. The sumac and pomegranate G & T is also lovely. My husband got the sharezoor milk punch. Also delicious but much too small for the price. Overall a great meal and wonderful service.

We are regular customers of the Camberwell Chirch Street restaurant which we love for food and service. We decided to try the Vestey rd restaurant. The food here is also very good but it’s all ruined by the one waitress: - we had to ask for the humus three times - we had to get the Corkscrew ourselves as we asked but it never arrived - we asked for extra flatbread, it never got to our table. We were never offered an apology, actually she looked at us with a strange grim. Also when I booked I asked if the menu was the same as the other restaurant and I was told it is. Which it’s not. The very poor service is a deterrent from going back and won’t recommend it around.

Amazing food at reasonable prices. Cosy unpretentious setting. Very friendly staff.

One of the best middle-eastern centered restaurants I've eaten at in London. The blend of Kurdish cooking and hospitality really makes this a unique spot and a must to go to in Camberwell or Elephant and Castle.

One of the best places to eat in London, full stop. The end.
