The management are refusing to take responsibility for the bad and rude service we received from their staff and the cold food which was inedible and we could not eat but still had to pay for it. They totally disregarded that we had an elderly person with us who never received her main meal and went home hungry. Our group was very courteous the whole time despite the rudness from their waitress... having seeing other reviews left it seems other people have had bad experiences too. Definitely we don't recommend going to this restaurant

What made the experience even better was the exceptional service from Michael, very professional, amazing with my boy and made us feel very comfortable. Michael recommended the Sherry Pork Shank, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever had in harvester. Thank you Michael!

Worst Christmas Dinner everAll frozen produce , Can't believe for the price we payed over £200 with drinks on the day!If wanted frozen Iceland food would of stayed home and put in the oven Aunt Bessie's potatoes all microwaved and nothing fresh was a rushed 1hour dinner to leave so disappointed could not of changes are dinner as it was the quality of food that was being served.Apple pie was microwaved soggy dough nothing I could say was tasty on our 3 course dinner feel ripped off with it all being not fresh and on the only day that is important.Can't rate any stars left most on the plate did call as didn't want a bad atmosphere on the day was told they would of changed the meal for what the quality would be the same frozen food microwaved deep fried or oven job no fresh produce worst the weatherspoon.So disappointed and upset ruined our Christmas.

Mikel is the best server here! He extremely brilliant and makes you feel welcome ?The bake mushroom on the festive menu was ace as a starter.Customer service from Mikel exceptional. I would return again and recommend to friends.

Nice place! Looks the same as every other harvester I've been to except this one has a beautiful fireplace as you enter which was incredibly welcomed this winter. All the staff were friendly and helpful and even managed to fit us in despite being busy. Food was nice and the unlimited salad bar was definitely utilised. Had a slight discrepancy with the bill which was fixed immediately and they apologised for, will be returning!Parking: Plenty of parking and is right next to the harvester which was lucky! Only a couple of disabled parking spaces however

I’ve always come here for food or a drink with my husband and children. The people who work here are so friendly and are really nice to the kids. Bethany served us the last time we were in, there were 11 of us and she was brilliant. I can’t fault her service or friendliness. Food was perfect and the night was lovely.

Went here for my daughters birthday (her choice) the staff were lovely and can not fault them was asked to provide ID to get a glass of wine, we were clearly over legal age (43&44) salad bar was as expected no real complaints our main thou were not great. Everything was extremely dry and over cooked but lukewarmThe waiter did say he would have changed it but then half of us would have been sitting with no food whilst the others ate. The halloumi fries were cooked to an inch of their life. The dirty fries were really not that dirty. The only person who was happy was my daughter she had a kids chicken burger meal but was not offered a dessert. Luckily I had a 25 percent voucher as the waiter did not offer to take anything off even thou I’d also been charged extra for some chicken (only noticed after we paid and left) personally I won’t be returning

We've been coming to eat at Larkswood Harvester for the last two years now since our son was a newborn. From the moment we entered it felt like being treated by family. Our boy is now 18 months old and we still feel as welcome as that first time. The service is great, the staff are lovely and the range of food is fantastic. The guys in the kitchen always give us a wave when we pass by - thank you for feeding us guys! Servers like Bethany and Co are just terrific - warm, kind hearted and patient with our little one, especially when he decides to go on a walk around - thanks to the whole team. You're all great and a credit to the hospitality industry.
