Had my 60th Birthday meal here on Saturday night. They looked after us beautifully and the food was delicious as always.

An exquisite meal and experience. Annie's Chiswick delivers every time, and caters to all preferences. I had the vegan burger which was filling, tasty and a decent portion with delectable chips! My wife has the salmon as a main which she says was cooked to perfection. Despite being a busy Saturday night with all the tables being full, we received VIP treatment. The general manager Norbert, was charming and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the banoffee pie - it's their signature dessert and the portion is very generous. The cocktails look fantastic too! The staff including Rose and Reagan were absolute gems too.Annie's is undoubtedly one of our favourite restaurants. With stunning decor, it's easy to think this resto could be style over substance, but I assure you the quality of the food is on par with the amazing ambiance. Annie's is also renowned for their epic weekend brunches. I wholeheartedly recommend Annie's. It's a popular place so suggest booking in advance.

Staff were friendly however we were told after ordering our pancakes that they were all out. We were given menus to re choose food. We decided that we would go elsewhere. We asked for bill and upon paying for the milkiest and lukewarm coffee on earth, we were told that three plates of pancakes were waiting for us. Refused to accept cash and had one alternative milk.At no point were we told this until leaving.Very poor and slow service. A real shame as it could be an amazing small business.

I visited Annie’s on a Saturday afternoon. The service was great and lovely decor. The food (chicken Milanese) not as much unfortunately- it was beautifully presented but:- The chicken had no salt- The pasta “arrabbiata” had capers, olives and tasted vinegary when all it needed was salt pepper tomato chilli e garlic at best.We may come back and try brunch sometime as I think it might be a better menu judging by the reviews.

Very nice hidden gem. It is a bit pricey but the place is lovely. The staff were very friendly and also polite. There was a little wait to get the food but the place was full, so, understandable. We went for the brunch. Nice food, nice music. Would recommend and will go back to try the roast.

I went to this cafe to meet a friend and the patrons made it clear that they did not want brown skinned people as customers. The waitress kept coming outside to our table asking if we wanted anything more ( about 5 times). My friend ordered a coffee and I had a large hot chocolate. Its was Saturday morning at about 10.30am. It was as if they did not want a person of colour seating outside of the shop and wanted to create a scene so we would eventually leave. Discrimination isn't attractive and I will never go to this place again.

I have been visiting Anne's in Chiswick for DECADES. It has been one of my favourite local restaurants for as long as I can remember. Have introduced so many friends to what I called my hidden gem where I have celebrated many birthdays. As my birthday is close to Christmas I am conscious of the fact that restaurants book up quickly with festive crowds so always get my booking in early. I called Annie’s to book my table (I know, old school) but wanted to speak to a person and request a table upstairs, which is my favourite place to dine, I find it more intimate and cosy. I was with my husband and two sons, it was my birthday and I wanted it to be special. I received a call from Annie's two days prior from a gentleman (wish I'd asked his name!) asking me to confirm my attendance, to which I reiterated my request to sit upstairs and he confirmed that this was definitely on my booking. You will understand my frustration and annoyance that on arrival I was told that upstairs was full and I would need to sit downstairs, and not just any table downstairs but one wedged against a pillar in line with the draft from the door. I was so angry, I went over the road to The Bulls Head opposite to see if they had any tables, (great pub, eaten there loads of times) unfortunately, they were full so I returned to Annie’s and decided to make the most of my birthday evening with my family. The menu seemed very limited and not the usual home cooked, comforting parlour meals I associate with Annie’s, maybe because it was Christmas? Bearing in mind I am seated with three men, my husband and two sons, we ordered two courses each and on each occasion my starter and main course were both served last, my main be very late, when eventually arrived was overcooked, dry and not very enjoyable at all, although Annie’s probably think I finished it as my son ending up picking at my plate after he finished his steak and ate most of it. By this time I just could not wait to leave and declined dessert, I mean the thought of being served a dessert with a candle or happy birthday greeting in it filled me with dread. Such a shame, will NEVER go back to Annie’s, end of an era for me and resulted in being my worst birthday memory. DISAPPOINTED DOES NOT SUM IT UP!!

We were quite disappointed to find 3 of the main meals were no longer available and it was only 8pm. As this was a special occasion, which we have chosen Annie's for in the post, I don't think we'll be returning.

After sinking a few beers alongside the river from Kew, I stumbled (quite literally) across Annie’s .. It was busy, the staff were excellent, super accommodating and friendly. I had the Beef bourguignon which was absolutely on point, the wine selection is well thought out and expansive. I will absolutely be visiting again in the new year! We’ll done guys, you have created a truly wonderful venue and you should all be very proud of that, hence why I left a £40 tip on top of a £90 bill. Excellent ?

We went to celebrate our anniversary. Food was good and service great. The only thing that dampened our experience was the online menu was not updated and we had booked the restaurant with certain dishes in mind which were not on the menu at the restaurant.

Lovely little restaurant. Came for brunch - the food was excellent, setting/atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and the service was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
