“I frequent the Caffe Nero on the corner of Elliot Road and Chiswick High Street, primarily because of an amazing deal with Three, which gives me discounted coffees. The coffee is OK – not the best, but not the worst either. The service is similarly middle-of-the-road; it’s acceptable, but nothing to write home about.
The decor is typical of Caffe Nero, which means it’s starting to feel a bit dated. A fresher design would be a welcome change. However, they do have good cold drinks, some of which aren’t too sweet, which I like. They also offer vegan options and have recently introduced maritozzi – Italian buns filled with whipped cream – which are a lovely addition. Additionally, they have a new blueberry mousse cake that’s worth trying. Overall, it’s an OK place. Nothing spectacular, but it does the job.
Vegetarian options: No surcharge for plant milks”
