Staff are helpful, polite and friendly

Wife went to Asda this evening. Very unimpressed. She bought a box of six fresh spicy and six fresh normal chicken wings. Both missing two from the boxBit of a liberty really !!!!!

It absolutely grieves me to click one star as this store simply doesn’t deserve it. How can so many members of staff be so rude, disgruntled and unhelpful? The store is forever in a state of ‘restocking’ regardless of time of day; I suggest if the staff spent less time huddled in two’s and three’s chatting and moaning this would be a more productive and well stocked store. I have been taking photos for a few months, as this complaint is by no means a ‘one off’, it is the culture of this store; staff blocking aisles because they are chatting with each other constantly, while their large cages/trollleys block the aisles and I seen and have photos of fresh food on the floor with staff walking past and doing nothing about it. I pointed out that a whole row of fresh food was way out of date and the member of staff replied ‘oh is it’. The security guard is clearly profiling customers with the old ‘can I see your receipt’ and this profiling is not based on on the ASCONE protocol (I doubt he even knows what that is) I personally will NOT be showing my receipt ever again - learn the law - your receipt belongs to you and if you have not stolen anything, let them call the police - the security guard’s attitude and behaviour at Dagenham Asda Merrielands, is lazy, unprofessional and ignorant - he too spends most of his time chatting with staff when he’s not targeting decent law abiding shoppers of course.In summary, this Asda store is awful, staff rude and act as if they don’t want to be and definitely don’t want to help customers. I am sending all my photos, complaints and evidence to trading standards and retailADR.

It is one of my go to places for groceries. A very large store, well spaced isles, good signage, and supported by ample parking, car wash, a Timpsons, a petrol station. My interaction with its staff was pretty good. Their hot food section is good and quite affordable.

Dont ever click and collect here. They take 30mins to and hour to come bring it out. U might as well just go in and do your own shopping

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THAT SHOP IS RIDICULOUSLY BAD!!! THE CASHERS ARE ALWAYS EMPTY .USUALLY ONLY ONE OR TWO PEOPLE WORK AT THE CASHERS ANDAT THE SAME TIME 50 PEOPLE ARE WAITING LONG TIME TO CHECK AND PAY FOR THEIR ITEMS !!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORSE THAN EVERY OTHER STORE I HAVE BEEN IN LONDON !! FOR A BIG NAME LIKE "ASDA" THIS SITUATION IS HILARIOUS !!!!

ASDA's system: SCAN & WASTE your time. Or SCAN & START AGAIN FROM ZERO.At 5PM, Sunday, instead of just scan a barcode and pay in less than 1 min. at Scan & Go, they just preferred to close it and send people to queue with full baskets at regular tills where to offload all the trolleys, scan again all the products one by one, put everything again in bags etc.What's the point of Scan&Go if you force people to scan everything again, manually, one by one? Why would the staff decide to waste more of the people time, like 20 times more? Instead of 30 secund for a Scan & Pay? Just because they can?

I have made a complaint regarding the lack of the baby adapted trollies when there was two now there is zero. Buying baby milk is made to feel criminal when you ask the worker to remove the security tag they demand the receipt when they have just watched you pay.

What as happened to this store in Dagenham it’s bloody awful and the staff are so rude,nothing as changed in this store since I put up this review.as for the games console games why have the games on the shelves and you pick one up to buy get to the counter and you wait there for 10to 15 minutes then the staff come back to you we don't have the game then walk away from you not even a sorry we don't have it in stock at the moment so rude.the staff need to go on a costumer service course
