Excellent customer service, majestic resolved issue without quibble, an altogether pleasant interaction and shopping experience, definitely feel confident buying from this wine shop above all others. In terms of the wine selection, despite its modest exterior the shop is actually fairly expansive like other majestics, and theres many wine regions to choose from, quite interested in the italian wines and choice of beer. Its always worth popping in and having a browse when passing by, also the number 3 bus to brixton stops on route here which makes it a convenient location as well.

Don't think I'll bother going again, even though I live close by, because missing the train back really annoyed me. Fine margins, I'm afraid, with half a dozen other places nearby.

He was superb; Knowledgable, personable, professional, Andrew didn’t make us feel bad for not knowing very much about wine and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable by letting us blind test. Even helped us pick wine to suit our wedding meal - Incredible!I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Excellent shop. I engaged the team largely via email, and they were incredibly prompt to respond with thoughtful (and delicious!) recommendations. Furthermore, the ease of glass hire was remarkable. We would absolutely shop here again.

I'm done with Majestic now. I've used them regularly over the years, including their Calais outlet. I know we're in the middle of a lockdown but the Majestic website (email your local branch) and the auto email reply from the Dulwich branch (you can alternatively order online, due to long response and delivery lead times) seem to have different strategy messages. I emailed an order enquiry to the Dulwich branch, asking them to confirm how much of the order they had in stock and, if out of stock, for a suggested replacement. Two days later I miss a call from them and then receive an email stating they tried to call and that I should call them back to place my order. I called back - no answer, so left a voice message. 36 hours later and no reply. I then found an alternative supplier with a larger range, who was able to deliver within 4 days - half the delivery lead time for Dulwich. I doubt if I'll be using Majestic - UK or Calais - again.
