Lovely place me and some friends stumbled into, the choice of beers was large and great. The outside was perfect for us as we're all smokers and Mitch gave some great recommendations and was funny to talk to. After we got hungry and got recommended a burger by someone else was juicy and

Service wasn't greatPortions were smallMy 9 year old grandson's berger was the size of an egg yolk.My daughters creme anglaise was curdled and had to be sent back twice in the end she swapped it for ice cream.Vegetarian options: More choice needed.
The plough is an amazing pub with really nice staff. I have been there and parked multiple times But as for one of the reviews below I have also had a letter 3 months later from a Debt recovery company on behalf of euro car parks saying I have to pay £155. Please people be careful when parking in the car park

Really great Sunday roast. Service was super quick and friendly staff too. I would definitely recommend the pork roast it was very well cooked. The roast potatoes were slightly over cooked. Good all around though!

I am gutted I never took photos! Came with my husband and two children. The price of the food vs what you get is absolutely shocking! £29 for a steak and it came with a handful of fries and rocket leaves. The children’s mash potatoes was 3 teaspoons of mash if you are lucky. The guy behind the bar had awful customer service. The lady on the floor running the food was lovely. She was the only good part about this experience. £90 for two adults and 2 children’s meals (one was a baby so had a veggie side dish)

We have come to the Plough on many occasions over the past few years as we live close by and have always loved the food, atmosphere and quick service. However for the past two Sunday lunches (this past Sunday and about 6 weeks ago) we waited an hour for our food with no pre-warning, or apology once the food was finally served. We thought the first time was due to an isolated issue but it seems like it’s the new norm! We have a one year old baby so waiting an hour isn’t ideal for us, so we won’t hurry back unfortunately!
