Dishes are generally well prepared and well presented, however they seem over priced, particularly the lunch menu. Ambience not helped by the rather snooty and condescending manager, who amongst other things, told off my mother (aged 78) for not properly closing the door on our way in.

While the dishes are typically skillfully crafted and beautifully presented, there's a noticeable issue with their pricing, especially on the lunch menu—it leans towards the expensive side. The overall dining atmosphere is hindered by the presence of a somewhat haughty and patronizing manager, adding a touch of discomfort to the experience. Despite the culinary expertise showcased in the preparation and presentation of the dishes, the cost and the manager's demeanor leave room for improvement in creating a more enjoyable dining environment.

Excellent French restaurant in East Finchley. I had the Toulouse sausage to start, which was piquant and served with an imaginative salad. The swordfish for main was also very tasty and well presented. The cheese was excellent. The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. Service is efficient and friendly without being intrusive. So,in all, this is a very pleasant place to eat, though the excellence does come at a price.

Wonderful food and lovely service, nice to find somewhere local which is also very good. Will be back for sure.
Great local French restaurant. Would recommend both the onion soup and beef bourguignon. There was also plenty of other good options on the menu. We didn’t try any of the desserts but will definitely be coming back here.

Beautiful food, excellent service - we were well looked after.Warm welcome, great attention to detail, both décor wise & the food on the plate . Superb gentle music to complement the French theme. Generous space between tables...have been visiting this restaurant for many years, it never disappoints & hope to visit again for many years to come.

I only popped in for a drink. But the service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. The menu and food looked amazing. I wished I had time to eat.I will return but next time I'll be enjoying your delicious looking menu.

Outstanding food quality. Eg, excellent roast chicken breast, fillets of sea bream and beetroot cured salmon. Everything is top notch and couldn't be bettered.Parking: Easy accessibility from East Finchley and various bus routes.

The first visit was ruined by a dominating voice at the adjacent table making food a secondary consideration and us vowing never to go back! However we went back as guests of friends and despite a rather high noise level food was excellent and way above the average for a high street bistro . Not a bargain meal but reasonable value , would revisit but not the table by the washing up section as clattering plates !Parking: Plenty of parking after six although daytime is paid with time restrictions.
