The rudest customer service staff I have encountered. Consistently unhelpful and aggressive each time I have visitedUpdated in response to Harps - the last time I visited was 23/12/23 around late afternoon. The lady was an Indian woman in her 50s working at the trolley self service who was very rude. My product needed approval so I patiently waited for her while she served another customer. Another lady waiting in the queue pointed out I was waiting. The Asda staff turned and shouted at me to ask someone else. There was noone else around.Previous time to that was back in September or October, I used the trolley self service as 1. My basket was incredibly full and 2. There were available tills and 3. No signs to say basket shoppers can't use trolley lane.Another Indian lady (i can't remember what she looks like but recall she had some coloured highlights in her hair) was incredibly rude to me, talking aggressively and telling me I wasn't allowed to use the trolley self service. But at the same time was serving another customer who also had a basket shop with fewer products and didn't say anything to them. I raised this with the duty manager who was pretty incompetent too. I believe he was a bengali guy

Some of the older women on basket self checkout shouldn't be in customer facing roles. No interpersonal skills or any attempt to acknowledge customers. Asda management, try some mystery shopping and see why you lose customers.

Staff member name and shame: chayyen. Totally useless. No help at all. Phone would not scan the QR code but did not even come over once to try and help. Got frustrated and emptied my bags and was leaving......even then not even come over to try and resolve.Asked for the manager's name and she replied I don't know it. What a waste of space. Replace People like that for someone for actually wants to help.

Terrible store! Never ordering home shopping from them again. Always miss out a whole basket and you need to ask them to check the van. Sometimes they lose the half the delivery and refuse to deliver the missing item. Off to Tesco it is for me. Asda fell off years ago.

Next time you go just PRINT ANY RECEIPT!Otherwise you’re in for intolerable arrogance by the store management!To name a few of the staff, DAL the security manager and his supervisor RASHID.The behaviour was very racist and disrespectful - the way they searched my bags was extremely unprofessional and by far a horrible experience in my 6 years in the UK as an immigrantAll for the store’s useless security scanner at the exit which didn’t work properly, at last long I had to show payment proofs through my card transactions - even then the security manager or any staff didn’t bother to apologise for their behaviour

I bit into the Apple and it was blacker than Martin Luther king jr. I will not b shopping here anymore. I walked down the aisle and saw many rodents such as rats and mouses. Many containers were open and it was very unhygienic. The staff were extremely disrespectful and there was a shortage in trolleys. I want a full refund of £273 for my shopping. This is not acceptable, I will be contacting my lawyers. Expect to hear from me in the near future. Bring me my money

I went to collect my shopping that i ordered online and they did put some other products that they were similar but i didn’t want them , so the guy told me just leave it in the basket, i left them but never got a refund from asda Becton. Poor service, why should we buy again from Asda if they don’t care about they’re customers!

I have been to ASDA Beckton store today.while returning I was stopped by security camera person. He interrogated me as if im a thief.He asked my bill and checked my items in the bag and surprisingly he asked me to open my backpack saying that here all students will come to steal things soo i wanted to check you bag to make sure your not a thief.I gave him bill immediately and told him check my bag completely. He soo rude. My sincere request is AVOID THIS ASDA, the staff here are unbelievably rude and worst.I have a sincere request. Please tell your staff to respect the people in your premises. Please train them accordingly. They can stop anyone. They must stop and check If they want to. There’s nothing wrong with it. But I think there’s a decent and legit way for anything.Will never ever shop at ASDA again..I would rate 00000, if i had an option

Store has gone massively down hill. It used to be friendly and helpful now staff are unhelpful and uncommunicative. It has moved to self checkouts and then does not open them all. Problems are fobbed off and management do not respond. I called Asda customer service who just connected me to the store Avoid if you can - there are other supermarkets in the area

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY !!!!!!!!I am extremely disappointed with the service provided! It was my second time shopping with this store, and the experience has left me so annoyed.I initially booked express delivery and selected a time slot. When my order was running late and hadn't even left for delivery, I reached out to customer service. The representative informed me that my delivery would arrive by the end of the day (which is not express). However, to my surprise, I later discovered that my order had been canceled. I contacted customer service once more, and they advised me to contact the express delivery company to reorder, as the cancellation was not initiated by Asda. I was provided with a contact number.Upon calling the delivery driver, he mentioned that he was at the store but couldn't locate my order. He advised me to contact Asda since he couldn't take any action. When I reached out to Asda again, the representative was helpful in resolving the issue, reinstating my order, and even offered a free delivery as an apology for the inconvenience (eventually I was charged £8.50 again). I was given a new time slot between 16:00-17:00.However, by 17:15, my order had still not been delivered. I called customer service once more, and they informed me that my order was ready and waiting for the driver. Finally, my delivery arrived, but the ordeal was far from over.Upon unpacking my shopping, I realized that several items were missing. I contacted customer service again, only to be told that I could request a refund once the order was marked as delivered. Unfortunately, I still couldn't report all my missing items because my order hadn't been marked as delivered yet (19:30pm)This experience has been incredibly draining and frustrating. What should have been a straightforward online shopping experience turned into a day-long ordeal. This is my second highly frustrating experience with this store, and I will definitely avoid it in the future. No more shopping with Asda for me.Update!!!At 21:35, I received an email confirming the delivery, which finally allowed me to request a refund for the 14 missing items. Can you believe the response I got? "Your Asda refund request: not approved." I'm absolutely fuming!I've called customer service for the 9th time, and they informed me that my case would be escalated to the financial department. They promised a response within 24-48 hours, but if not, I'll have to call them again.I want to make it clear that I won't allow anyone to take my money unfairly, whether it was the person packing my shopping or the driver. I refuse to support theft or be aVictim of the DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!!!!

AVOID THIS Asda unbelievably rude staff and worst of all you can do shopping because there is never any trolleys. Lastly packaged products are split or the food inside is damaged horrible.

Asda Beckton very similar to most other Asda supermarkets. Good selection of products although at the time I shopped some of the shelves were empty of products. Price labels didn't always match up with the product which can be a little annoying.
