We used to come here a lot years ago and stopped due to rude staff. We were lured back this time by the offer of a free bottle of house wine which was very nice. Sadly the menu is very limited and basic so we went for the spaghetti bolognese and marsarla chicken with mushrooms and fries which were both ok but very small portions. For dessert my husband had honeycomb cheese smash cake which again was a very small portion for £7.50 and we laughed out loud when it came with 2 spoons. Anyway great place to come if you fancy the usual boring food and you are on a diet. On the strength of this we have cancelled a booking in the Portsmouth Prezzo's despite the offer of the free wine. On a plus the staff were very pleasant just could have done with more of them. Shame.

i was sent the wrong food and my 4 piece fried mozzarella came with 2 pieces of fried mozzarella. my food was also cold. I cannot afford to get anymore food for myself now as the refund will not be processed for 10 days.

Had dinner at the restaurant and I must say the service was second to none. We were served by the new manager Anthony I believe his name is. Very attentive, truly catered for what we wanted to try, we wanted something a little different than the usual Italian pasta alongside with a nice wineWe were impressed on how we were made feel relaxed and simply enjoyed the evening. Thank you so very muchWe will most definitely return and I am sure you will be doing really well in this Restaurant Anthony.

Visited yesterday evening..at 5pm.Not great at clearing tables..Despite pizza oven being on..too cold in there to sit comfortably and enjoy we were cold and shivering..4 retired ladies.The heating seemed to be blowing warm air at around 5pm when we arrived and then felt like cold air ..and although it wasn't busy we were told it was the door being opened ..and that the heating was on ..if we wished to see the control board..andthat they couldn't do anything about it, but they would take it up tomorrow with the manager ..!!We spent a fair amount of money for a Christmas ?works meet up and cut visit short as it was just too cold to sit and chat and relax...it spoilt the evening..Other customers had their hats and costs on ..I kept mine on until my starter arrived ...couldn't wait to leave .There were no Christmas decorations ..though it's nice decor and clean and pleasant and nice food.It's not customer comfortably friendly being that cold.Such a shame as we were looking forward to meeting up and didn't expect to be dissapointed. We had to oder hot drinks to try to keep warm ...

Not a great experience - very slow service. At one point the manager asked if we wanted to see the desert menu and then went over to the bar and just stood there chatting, 10 minutes later she saw us looking and brought it over, at which point we just asked for the bill. Staff are fairly nice and friendly but service is very slow. Food was OK. Would not recommend.

The Squid starter was fantastic. The rice ball is fine. The main dishes we ordered Lasagne and Margarita pizza. Disappointing. 1. The pasta sheet is over cooked, mushy. The meat sauce are thick but little meat. They claimed baked in the wood burning oven but not enough time. 2. The pizza is horrible as very little cheese and tomato sauce, 3 little pieces of mint leaves. Undercooked and no burnt or charcoal smell. 3. We talked to the waitress and she told us the chef apologized to her but not mentioned anything else. I bet he is a “weekend chef” as he is so young. Glad that the manager understood after look at the pie. Otherwise, we would not come again. Bad chain store experience. If we ever come again, definitely pasta from the kitchen only.

If I could mark this lower I would. Drinks were good but food was a joke. The new menu is rubbish with hardly any choice. This place use to be one of my favourite places to dine. I had a tuna and pesto pizza.... more like pesto and pesto pizza. Terrible. I had one slice and my family member had the other.... left the rest for the bin.
Love this restaurant! Been here twice last week. Food is always hot, tasty and nicely presented. Really wide choice of food and drinks on the menu and plenty of tables to choose from - whether you want to be at the front, back or side of the restaurant. Big shout-out of thanks to Katy, Isobel & Angela who all worked so hard last week to make our visits special and enjoyable!

We came here tonight for a birthday family meal (there was 11 of us). We was served by Katie. She was absolutely out of this world! We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She was brilliant with the children and the service was absolutely out of this world. The food all come out at the same time and it was lovely, 5 stars doesn't even justify the service we have received today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the above and beyond experience we have had today.

Had a fantastic meal today celebrating my sons birthday. Katie our server was so nice and great at her job, food came quickly she kept checking we were OK and she got our order spot on, usually in other restaurants they forget our kids don't like herbs, resulting in a melt down. None of that happened today! Thank you Katie for great service!!! we'll be back x
