I seem to have hit the busiest time. Long queue and not many seats, but it soon started to empty out. Food delicious as always, staff as hard working as always.

Visited here as it’s next to the Tower of London (and cheaper than eating in the tower) and just had a black tea and bacon bap. The service was excellent, bacon roll Cooked perfectly and it was so nice to have the tea in an actual teapot! Great view of the tower and able to sit outside too!

You can seat outside even during a drizzel or rain as shopping center have roofed courtyard giving coverage for clients even during heavy rains - great design idea.Vegetarian options: Toasty itemsWheelchair accessibility: Door can be open widely for wheelchair and tables can be rearrange for low access, staff is attentive to needs of all clients. If you co e with bigger group tables for 5 or6 is not a problem .

Called in here about 9.00 on a Sunday morning before our tour of the Tower of London. There were 2 staff working and about 6 or 7 customers in front of us. It appears that the staff were not clued in. They were very slow. A couple in front of us left the shop without ordering. I ordered a coffee and had to ask twice for milk. I then had to remind one of the staff that I has a toasted sandwich in the toaster.

the blonde barmaid, I don't know if she's Polish or I don't know what, is rude, arrogant and inappropriate.

The service is beyond excellent which is very rare nowadays. Normally visit around 12 times a week. Sometimes alone but most times with my mother and aunty whom I care for full time. We are all made to feel very welcome every day & nothing is too much trouble.Kid-friendliness: Unfortunately.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything on one level & no steps.

We finished the day with a lovely latte & toasted sandwich. Staff were so nice & very helpful. Wheelchair accessible toilet & baby changing area. Highly recommended ?????

Extremely kind staff. My devil knocked a whole coffee on a table. Before I said "o my gosh" the table was cleaned, coffee was replaced with an extra candy bar! I'm well impressed!

Service is a bit slow as they only have one till, otherwise the selection of food and sweet treats are excellent, they have a choice for vegan's and vegetarian's, staff are friendly and helpful,

I've been twice to Costa Palace Gardens and both times got the wrong order. First time I ordered a plain croissant and got a Bakewell tart. When I was surprised and enquired, I was told that no I had definitely said Bakewell tart. Of course I would know what I ordered. But, having worked in service myself, I tend to be forgiving so I smiled and said I would eat it no problem. The second time I went in just two weeks later, I ordered a medium latte. The server kept repeating small latte and I kept saying, no a medium latte but she wasn't listening. The supervisor noticed my frustration after three attempts to get her attention and correct her were ignored and intervened to listen to what I was saying. Once again I was told that, no I had definitely ordered a small latte. This time I didnt let it go and I replied I had told her 3 times it was a medium but she wasn't listening or looking at me. Manager didn't apologise and made me feel I was being unreasonable and rude, saying she is busy and doing her best. I hadn't complained, just pointed out I had said what I had said 3 times after being told a second time I said something I just did not. It seems from the names here that those who had similar bad experiences here on reviews were all from similar 'brown skinned' backgrounds so it makes me feel we are not welcome there and I shall not return. Pret here I come!
