This restaurant was amazing, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was an amazing atmosphere. The food was great and the carver was very polite and helpful especially with telling me what my daughter with allergies could eat and even offered to steam her some fresh veg with nothing else on it. Really impressed with the service.

Four of us went to this Toby for Sunday lunch. In general the food was good, and good value. But we all found that the general condition of the building, inside and out, was poor. The car park was covered in litter, the building and furnishing has been neglected for many years. Shabby! The worst thing was the cleanliness of the cutlery was very poor. The ladies of our party both ordered a glass of wine. The glass was not clean, and you could even see stains on them both. which also included the knifes and forks. One of us went up to the bar and asked for new glasses, and even the second glasses were not perfect, but at least they were okay. Would we go there again? Definitely not. In my book Hygiene should be at the top of the list.

Went to this place for lunch with some oversea friends visiting who had never experienced a British roast before! Food was lovely, looked great, tasted even better, and was a great example of how British roast dinners should be done!

It is what it is. Veg slightly bland, meat had good flavour, definitely an art being able to carve meat that thinly ?. All in all good value. Rubbish automated booking system.

Came as a large party for a Christmas booking in the private room. Food was great, staff were brilliant especially Joe who helped us out with drinks. It's a bit out the way - taxi from Cheshunt station was about £17 but worth it to see everyone and the venue is nice ?

The only great thing about our visit was Cassie the hostess. She was very calm, professional, helpful and friendly. Mille on the other hand was obnoxious, deceitful, awful attitude very unhelpful and should not be allowed to to work with the public. Food was cold, plates were dirty.I will be posting a full review on Trustpilot and Google as a completely unsatisfied customer.I blatantly experienced racism and discrimination on this visit which actually ruined my Christmas.

Booking great, lady on the phone was lovely and helpful… when we got there we were a party of 16 on 4 separate tables within the same area.. this was not acceptable so staff member said we could move the tables if we wanted and we did but it baffles me as to why we weren’t put in another area which had plenty of room.. we have been there before and it was great. Tea/coffee machine gets switched off at 9.00pm so we couldn’t have one after our meal, draught beers not served after 9.00pm?? What’s going on here? It’s supposed to be a family Xmas meal but it turned out to be a very stressful affair. The Toby on the A10 is even worse.. awful service there.. Do you not want us to come to your restaurant? I just don’t understand how Toby Carvery has become so disappointingWheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible in some areas

It was very rude that when I ask for whether if there is any beef left, the chef looked at other chef and laughed and said something that I didn't understand clearly and said no beef. I've made a booking beforehand and food should be still available until the last booking isn't it ? They wasn't even bothering to top up the empty plates. There was no cauliflower or macaroni pasta left only one spoon of it and that's it. We were hungry with sen child and had to go for vegetarian option but all I ate was potatoes and peas and carrot as there wasn't much option and empty plates. Waitresses were nice though. The venue was nice but can't say the same thing for food availability and attitude of the older chef. It didn't meet our expectations as we chose whitewebbs thinking its much better than the one in A10 Enfield but we regret it. We won't go back there again !

Lovely setting for a Tobys. Ideal for family visits, food is good for a Tobys, the staff are lovely and very accommodating. Bought a take away breakfast and everything was cooked lovely. The containers allow a good amount of food to fit.

Staff very welcoming and we're working extremely hard as extremely busy when we visited but nothing was too much trouble. Good was good as always although shame there was no swede. My daughter's favourite .Biggest issue is very big potholes in road leading to restaurant.Parking: Not quite enough bays when very busy. Sometimes but of a waitKid-friendliness: Children are always welcome

Meat prepared perfectly, not overdone like in other Toby Carveries. Great selection, no long waits, lovely friendly staff and great building/house.Easily the best Toby I have been to!

Absolutes awful stood in line for food for almost thirty minutes only three people in front of us beef dripping potatoes came out and staff poured GRAVY all over them, macaroni chees cold had to ask for mash potatoes to be stopped over, peas was just the same - dishes were there ready but no one taking lids off and removing empty ones. Gravy almost ran out and covered in skin, Turkey was sliced almost see through as they only had one left !! Commented to waitress about standing in line so long and was told it’s half price offer we are busy we usually come at lunchtime but took friends who are emigrating for a meal, John Smiths beer was flat and friend said it was the worst he’d ever had. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT
