Small portions only one in the shop still took 15 min to get served, time we got ( 7min) home the fish was in ineditable chips were cold savaloy was cold, mushy peas were miniscule and cold, and overpriced for what you getWon't be going there again.

Im sure I found the the worst fish and chips in the area. I don’t understand why they keep boxes if they pack your meal in a piece of paper! My fish after 5 min was inedible as the chips were! Soaked, soft and no taste at all!Same taste like the ready meal from Asda which you can get for half price.EDIT: a few hours later update. Me and my partner have finished with food poisoning.
Passing through this town as I'm a delivery driver, popped in for food. Brilliant food excellent customer service and priced well.Actually filled me up and left a great taste afterwards.Will recommend this to all my driver mates when ever passing through.To everyone, give it a try.

Both pieces of fish freshly cooked and they were both huge and delicious. One large portion of chips easily feeds 2 people. Not too expensive for the quality and quantity.

Like 2 years ago, thought I'd try Joe's again and like 2 years ago the fish was swimming in oil, and more fatty greasy batter than fish. The guy cant do decent fish

I don't know what has happened to Joes but seriously, this has to be one of the worst meals I have bought. Curry sauce? More like minestrone soup. Cheesy chips with burger cheese slices on top, battered sausage was over cooked and out of 7 people we ordered for, not one person liked the food.Only good thing was the person who served was really nice so thanks to him. We don't expect to spend £50 and get food of this standard. Will not be coming back.

JOE'S fish bar is my local chippy, you can tell its a well run family business and the young man while served me was friendly,polite and the service and quality of food was excellent.. this is why is my only fish n chip shop I go to now ..Keep up the great service ?
