Booked a table for six people for 8pm tonight. It was my sister's birthday and I wanted to take her out to dinner. I got an email confirming my booking last week - but when we turned up the restaurant was closed. No cancellation, no warning, nothing. Thanks guys, great service!

AVOID!!!!! Staff are rude, atmosphere is like a cemetery and you have to wait for an hour just for startersDear Part Time Manager,We came on the evening of the 27th July 2022 (Wednesday). Awful experience, ended up walking out after an hour, starving! You guys didn’t even have water, your RUDE waitress had to go to the shop next door to get a bottle of water. EMBARRASSING!

AVOID AVOID AVOID ARROGANT OWNERSHIP (see owners reply) & CHANGE OF CHEF!!! Changed menu. No more mango and avocado salad :(. Ordered drinks and starters. Drinks came no starters for 45mins to an hour. We saw other tables being served food and the table with one person being prioritised for their wrong order but no food for us. We ended up leaving hungry and told the staff this is not acceptable customer service. Rather than listening and valuing our feedback she argued with us and told us she knows all about customer service as she has 3 businesses. We walked out gobsmacked and appalled. The most awful experience ever.Thank you for your response. I am Ms. Shah, not Mr. I'm very sorry if your old chefs family had a brain injury. In no way were we disrespectful to your staff. It was so bad, I had to tell your staff "enough" as she was being so disrespectful us. Of course your staff would say this she told us so many lies while we were in the restaurant. She clearly doesn't want to lose her job so she spins you a lie too. It's fine, be on the side on the side of your staff, she is losing you money and customers by giving bad customer service. You will tolerate her behaviour which only hurt your business costs and lead you into bankruptcy. You are setting up your business to fail. You need to clearly visit other restaurants on your road who are getting it right. No apology from you that we had to wait 45mins to an hour and still got no food, what kind of response is this. I will not tolerate you and your staff leaving us hungry shame on you.

A group of 5 of us went for dinner last night and on entering the restaurant there was a strange atmosphere as the restaurant looked uncared for. There was one other group of 4 already seated. We were greeted by a very sweet and friendly server who gave us the only three menus that they had. Four of the items we asked for weren't available, though most of the food we did have was actually quite good and portions were generous. All the main dishes came with rice, which meant there was a lot of wasted rice. One item (3 weird little tasteless steamed buns) was inedible and another person, who arrived after us, also ordered them but couldn't eat them - she left.Staff were really very friendly and hospitable, but clearly embarrassed about the restaurant. They had run out of toilet paper and hand soap too. The mens toilet was out of use. They'd also just got rid of the coffee machine as it broken down. It was a very different experience from when we visited several years ago so we won't be hurrying back anytime soon.

This has been my favourite Indian restaurant in the area for ages. For both North Indian and Dosa. Cannot believe how far they have fallen.They literally have no idea about what the dishes on their own menu even mean.Then there was the service, clueless.Really sad writing this review, they really have no business running a restaurant.

Lovely staff, quick service and delicious food. Coming from an Indian background, I always compare restaurant Indian cooking to my mum’s dishes. I was pleasantly surprised at how flavoursome the dishes were - I had the saag aloo, korma, gobi and daal. Not too oily and perfect sizes to share with my partner. Would definitely recommend!

Came here with my boyfriend for a Friday night dinner. The service was really speedy and friendly and the menu was really diverse! Inside the restaurant was a nice ambiance as well with calming music. The food was really delicious, the peshwari naan was so delicious, and was clearly very freshly made. My favourite dish of the ones we got was definitely the tarka daal. My boyfriend is Indian and this daal tasted the same as his mum’s that she makes (high praise!!) would definitely recommend - you’ll leave feeling very full and satisfied ?

Corrie? Exceptional! I battled for 2 days if to put up a review but feel I must.I genuinely am not a fan of slating any business online for obvious reasons but if the owner doesn't actually care then it becomes a duty. I frequented this establishment many many times but when the original owner went back to Cochin...sadly it declined. So after about w/3 years I thought ok let's be brave . I even spoke to Corrie first to tell her of my last 3 disappointing visits so you'd think this was going to be exceptional...big mistake!Only beer was from Belgium. That was the time I should have left! I ordered two rotis and a Keema, my own favourite. No rotis sorry sir, ok I'll have nan ...20 minutes later ..wait for this...no Keema!!! So I ordered a lamb curry but asked that it should be vindaloo and it came back almost like a kourma.. so not impressed! This owner has a fantastic chef but is not one bit interested in his business so until it has yet another owner with the same chef...give it a very wide berthHopefully the owner won't reply to this truthful revue as there is no answer!

My Malabar lamb biryani was delicious, if short on lamb for the money, and the piping hot garlic and coriander naan acceptable. The manageress was lovely: welcoming and funny. But she said the Thalis were off (not good for somewhere that celebrates South Indian cuisine). And the 'bottomless beer' offer only referred to just out of date 'Komban premium black IPA' and 'that was the only beer they had.' I didn't like it. So much for the list on the menu. I didn't mention the boxes of Cobra I could see next to the drinks chiller cabinet. Also apparently they didn't have any of the cocktails. The atmosphere was a bit sad, with rather melancholy music and bad lighting. A group of ball lampshades in the middle of the ceiling was a nice try, but pointing at all the seating against the walls were spotlights. So the ones that worked were in your eyes, but only about 25% did work, and they were a stupid mix of halogen and two colours of white LED. Amateurish and not conducive to an intimate meal with someone. WARNING! TIPS DO NOT GO TO THE STAFF! THEY ARE ADDED TO THE BILL AUTOMATICALLY AND CANNOT BE REMOVED TO BE GIVEN SEPARATELY. GORDON RAMSEY WOULD HATE THAT. AND SO DO I. Pay the staff the tips, have what's on the menu in stock or remove it from the list. Fix the lighting and music. Your chefs and waiting staff deserve better support from the owners.

Food is absolutely AMAZING here ! Highly recommend. The lady who served us Corrie was an absolute god sent. She made sure everything we ordered came exactly as we wanted it and made our experience so relaxed. I would highly recommend the lamb jalfrezi. Yum

The food was delicious, but the service... I never liked the water hunter game. But here I felt it can be easier order from the kitchen. Maybe only me, who didn't find the rice on the menu, so I thought it will arrive with the curry.Mainly I felt I bother the waiter to spend his dinner. The best after this the service charge, which is not on the menu.Maybe after months I gave an other chance, but in the moment just NO.ps: I still waiting for my drink.
