We had a fantastic experience at Big Cheeks Thai. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous—I was completely satisfied after our meal. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to dine here again, recommended.

Delicious, memorable meal and friendly service. The soft shell crab and weeping tiger were excellent.

Very cozy place! Our waiter Arabella was so sweet and checked on us, especially when it was a chilly day. The food was good - we had the drunken noodles, pad thai and fried rice along with prawn skewers as starters. Enjoyed dinner! All our plates came with a cute little carrot ?

Service was incredible! The food was nice but just a bit basic for a proper Thai palace. I expected the panang to be thick and dark but it was just a coconut curry. Also we ordered the crispy fish but it was covered in sauce, so not crispy at all ?. The server was great though and refunded us the fish, plus her skills were top so we still tipped. Atmosphere was nice.

This place is a mixed bag. Service is friendly and attentive. Starters are great, really fresh and delicious. The actual curries were watery and bland comparatively to what they should be and one was inedible. The veg in curry was cooked well in both but unfresh soggy fish in one was really disappointing. We were grateful one was taken off the bill. I’d possibly go back to try other things but not in a hurry. We might have just been unlucky on night we went / what we ordered.

While the taste of the chicken Thai green curry I had recently was nice, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed by the small portion of chicken served. It left me wanting more, and it seemed a bit inadequate. Additionally, the overall portion size didn't match my expectations.Another aspect that didn't sit well with me was the pricing. The value for the portion sizes felt a bit off, especially considering the cost of a glass of coke (can drink), which seemed quite steep at £4.In summary, the food itself was tasty, but there's room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and pricing. I hope the restaurant considers these aspects to make the dining experience even better for its patrons

One of the best Thai places I have EVER been to! The Tofu Green curry and fish cakes are perfect, staff are all lovely and nice sitting outside. 100% recommend for an amazing meal (that's not too expensive)

Our local Thai restaurant. Whilst I think this Thai restaurant is a lot better than Matoom in terms of the vibe and food, I do feel like it's good but it was a little better last year. I've noticed that there's a lot less chicken in the Red Thai Curry on our recent visits, but it's still more chicken than Matoom would give.Service is very hit and miss and can be slow but it's not unbearable. Generous portion of prawn crackers and curry size but I've dropped one star purely based that dishes need more meat and service could be betterFor a local Thai restaurant it does the job.

I just ordered on deliveroo as it had a top hygiene rating. It arrived piping hot, very fresh and tasty! Will definitely order from them again!

I am a walking food allergy. I had great recommendations from the lovely serving staff. I couldn’t eat one of the dishes and they handled the return to the kitchen very elegantly and I was most impressed with the quality and most of all the servers. I’m not an easy customer and they did beautifully. Thank you xxxDietary restrictions: Keto friendly and great for diabetics.

Driven past so many times, always wanted to try and was not disappointedGood: The food... It was fresh and HOT... We both had chicken satay for our starters and it was very authentic... Been to Thailand a few times and it was just as good as anything there.I had the sizzling steak for my main (usually have Sweet & Sour but they don't do it here) and it was very nice. Steak was soft and easy to eat.Not as Good: Whilst, all of the staff were very friendly, I did find the service slow at times.. After we had finished our mains, it took about 15 mins before someone came for us to order desserts. It was empty - only 4 or 5 groups of people they had every sitting next to each other.. So whilst the rest of the place was empty, it felt like we were all on top of each other.Point to note that the service charge is already included when you get the bill. It was close to £9.00 on top of the cost of the bill.

Very disappointing unfortunately. We went here on 8th May for our son's birthday. We arrived at 6pm and didn't get served our main courses until 8.15pm. Nobody working there could give us a straight answer as to when the food was coming, just saying "your food is next" even though more people were served before us.The food itself was ok, quality wasn't that great and it lacked flavour. Dumplings came out cold, not hot so clearly had been waiting on the side for awhile. We refused to pay the service charge and were treated grumpily when we did, although I can't understand what they'd expect otherwise.A real shame especially given how expensive the bill ended up being.
