I love this place. At first I only gave them the edge over Chutneys on Lytton Rd (also excellent) because of their side dishes. They do the best Brinjal Bhaji in London in my experience. But I have come to really love their Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, which is so satisfying. It is said that hot curries release endorphins (feelgood chemicals) because of the chemical similarities between the active ingredients in chillies (capsaicin) and serotonin and ican well believe it, bcause there is such feeling of satisfaction after their CTJ. The lime and cashew rice is ... well, sublime!Vegetarian options: No. Let me post my review!Dietary restrictions: No.Kid-friendliness: No.Wheelchair accessibility: No.

The worst curries I had in ages. The meat was tough and dry even if smothered in sauce. The peas of the matter paneer were tinned and you could taste it.

Sorry to say that it's only average at best. Really wanted to like the curry leaf special. Nan bread was decent and price was alright.

We had a takeaway and it was just generic, boring, tasteless 'curry'. The naans were ok but the rest was just average and lazy cooking. My dish was supposed to be in a 'rich dark' chefs special sauce but it was like a gravy. Coriander and spices were supposed to be in there somewhere but again, no hint. Nobody raved about their meal but it certainly wasn't bad, just not good either.

Takeaway. Very disappointed with the food. Korma was very runny sauce and very little flavour. Shaktora was overwhelming taste of lemon rind and no spice. I will not be ordering from here again.

Over the ten years we’ve been using the Curry Leaf the food has always been of the highest standard. The best curry around. Well done Curry Leaf for maintaining such high standards

Arrived fast , volcanically hot . Flavours were just right . Nice to see fingers of okra (rather than tiny slices which ruins the texture for me). Madras was properly balanced it was hot but you could taste the aromatic spices as well as the heat. Lamb was generous and chunky . Fresh coriander over everything which I like . No grease , fresh tasting. Very much needed as a treat after a horrible day. Thanks guys ?

Mixed veg curry was inedible £4.95 wasted. Reheated old veg in watery sauce, tasted off. And the paratha was quite stodgy. This place used to be reliably good. The rice was tasty.

We just had a delivery from here. First time... and oh my goodness. The Korma was delicious but... the lamb dupiaza was by far the best I've tasted in North London. The pilau rice was also FULL of flavour. The papadoms were so thin and crispy. But best of all... not over priced for what was top quality Indian cuisine. We will not be going anywhere else for Indian at home from now! Excited to try more of their dishes.

Very mild in my opinion. Beautiful vegetable rice. Curry was flavorful, not everything is about whacking in a tonne of chili. Saag aloo was really nice. Would order again, though I might be a little bolder with the spice in future. ☺
