They are quite incompetent at this branch. First negative experience they sent me an inedible dessert knowing they didn’t have all the ingredients. When i rang them they just said “ oh yeah sorry there was no icing” so rather than tell me and give me an option to change it, they thought they could get away with sending me some dry pizza dough sticks with no topping, and charge me full wack. They said they would just give me some free ones next time I ordered!! Of course that didn’t happen and they know nothing of it when I mentioned it.
I was stupid enough to try them again!! This time they sent a bodged inedible pizza. They offered to send a new one but it was too late for me. They said they would refund it, but of course they didn’t. Having to chase it up now which is a waste of time. Avoid this branch
Here’s a structured and impactful review based on your experience:
I had an absolutely terrible experience with this Papa John’s location. I placed an order through their website at around 8:30 PM for a pizza and some cookies, costing me £20. According to the tracking app, the order had “arrived”—but it hadn’t. I called the store, and the staff member confirmed that it hadn’t been delivered. He assured me that he was remaking the order and that it would arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 PM.
10:30 PM came and went, and still no food. I called again, and once more, no order had arrived. I ended up with nothing to eat and no food at home. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and hungry. The guy eventually issued a refund, but that doesn’t change the fact that I wasted my entire evening waiting for food that never arrived.
To make matters worse, they claimed they couldn’t check where my order went because they use Uber Eats drivers, meaning it’s possible the driver simply took my food. If that’s the case, how is this even acceptable? Shouldn’t they have a system in place to prevent this?
Overall, this was an awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here unless you’re willing to risk paying for food that never arrives. Absolutely unacceptable service.
Fantastic Service by Mohammed Abed who went above and beyond to accomodate a large order for a university surgical conference. Prepared on time. Thank you and will order again
The first time ordering a Papa John's pizza in Fulham and I grossly disappointed. I usually order in North London where the pizza is so much better because they know me and my requirements but that shouldnt matter. Although I gave my order clearly and concisely with my intolerances of gluten-free base no meat, vegan etc the pizza turned up with hardly any toppings on. You could count the sweetcorn kernals and pineapple there wasmire base and hardly any vegetables. It was just a tomatoe and base pizza (I didn’t have cheese) which I paid 25 pounds for. It wasn't enjoyable at all, so I gave it away because I do not like to waste food. The only edible thing was the cauliflower bites. Thank God for those.
The delivery was a joke too with the driver coming to the wrong side of the building although specifying the address (it's a large sheltered building) and being disabled with mobilty challenges, I still had to go looking for him because he got lost.
Papa John, I am so disappointed! You spoilt my enjoyment of a eating a pizza and I will not be ordering again! I will make my own in future ??
Failure of a location. Extremely poor service and quality.
This shop took an order via Just Eat on Saturday 30th Nov late at night which they had no intention of fulfilling. When I called them they said they were closed. But they didnt cancel the order meaning I lost £21.49 because I had to then cancel it in the app. So Just Eat thinks I changed my mind and charged me and won't refund. There's a name for people who take money that doesn't belong to them.
The order took over an hour to arrive (I do not live far from the restaurant) and when it did, the delivery driver seemed rather abrupt and I noticed the lid of the pizza box wasn’t closed properly. I straight away went and opened the box and tried a slice; the pizza was almost completely cold. I called the restaurant and the man I spoke to clearly didn’t care but he said he would call me back with a solution. I waited 10 minutes and then I called again, and only then did he take my details and tell me that I would hear from a senior member of staff later that day or the following day (today). I’m really unimpressed that I paid and waited so long, only to receive a cold pizza that I then had to heat up myself. So far, I have heard from no one about an apology or solution to this pretty poor experience.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I recieved and am very unlikely to be ordering from you again as a result.
I pre-ordered 12 pizzas from your fulham branch at 11.24am in good time for a 12.45pm delivery. At 12.38pm I called the branch as I could see from the tracking facility that they had not left the branch. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone said the order would be leaving in 5 minutes, which was disappointing as I had specifically asked for a 12.45pm delivery.
As the time had lapsed further, and I had 30 children at a party waiting for pizza, I called back to ascertain the whereabouts of our pizzas. We were told at 13.00 (20 minutes after our requested time) the pizza would be with us in 5 minutes, this was a lie. We continued to call the store because we were still bo closer to serving the children with their pizza. Each time we called, the agent was very complacent about the situation.
As you can imagine, this situation was extremely embarrassing when a group of children were telling their parents how hungry they were.
When the driver called me at 13.30pm (45 minutes after requested time), he was at an address that was not where I had ordered it to go. What is infuriating about this is that I had already explained to a member of papa johns staff that they should ensure the driver was told to follow postcode and not school name (there are 2 schools of that name in the area. Clearly the message was bot passed on and clearly the driver did not follow the address details properly. Had he done that, he would arrived to where I was.
My pizzas finally arrived at 13.35pm and were cold! I cannot been to explain how disgusted I am by this appalling service. By the time the pizzas had actually come, the children had already been given sandwiches and crisps that we had to buy locally, which cost us a fortune.
My son was left crying from this situation because he had promised his friends pizza.
I spend £110.74 on pizzas that were over 45 minutes late and cold and constantly fobbed off by staff at the Fulham branch.
This matter needs to be dealt with appropriately. I do not see why I should pay for this shocking service. I have faced embarrassment, child upset, wasted money and wasted food. I 100% intend to take this matter further if it is not handled in the way it should be.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered from the website and my order was cancelled 3 times. When I called the first time they gave me a number for a delivery driver that doesn’t work for them.I continued to call them over 20 times and there was no answer. I decided to come to the store and they said they couldn’t do anything, and was rude and standoffish. I also called the store to see if they’d pick up the phone which they didn’t, they just stood around doing nothing while it was ringing. Don’t order from here if you value your time and money!!!!!
The pizza is consistently delicious, but when ordering on the app, you will be advised your pizza is ready for collection, only to be told on arrival that it is still be prepared/in the oven. Annoying and time wasting!!
I don’t think Papa John’s Fulham understand the use of a quality seal, often times it is stuck on just one side wrapped around rather than betweem the two surfaces. Also my XXL all the meats, and the tato tots with cheese and bacon looks sad comparing to the East Acton branch with uneven spread of cheese and ingredients, and poor sauce distribution
Good pizza
the poppers were not seasoned properly. the pizza toppings were all in the middle including the sauce on top was drizzled all in the middle. the toppings was falling off of the pizza. burnt seasoning on the paper. the pizza was all dusty
