We really enjoy going out to royal china at their Baker Street branch. This was our first time trying the Fulham branch and this time via ubereats. We ordered the chicken satay and pork chops which were both not bad. The sautéed beef with ginger and spring onion was ok. The wonton soup was light and refreshing. A bit on the pricey side though at £45.

Very average food, vegetables were off. Unwelcoming staff and poor service. Sad atmosphere. Extremely overpriced. We live close by and wanted to experience a local, will not go again.

Dim sum was good. Not a spaces place but we came here for the food, not the ambiance.

The dim sums were delicious! Steamed custard egg yolk lava buns were impressive! Definitely a recommended place for dim sum!

Love this place but when you treat yourself to your favourite chinese and you get half a portion of your favorite seaweed,.... It didn't get round 2 people and its £7!

Food arrived oily half spilt in the bag. And as for portion Compared to what I am paying.. well absolutely shocking. Inedible crumbs.. burnt and greasy. I called the restaurant to give them the benefit of the doubt. God I was spoken to so rudely by the manager. I ended up putting the phone down. Never ever purchasing any food from this restaurant again.

The food quality is much worse than the Baker Street branch. Most of the menu is replaced by food that can be cooked from frozen - bun, dumpling etc. some of the special items that can only be cooked from scratch are not there. Chung fun is served with barely any sauce - which is unbearable. Shanghai dumpling (xiao long Bao) should be served with shredded ginger with vinegar, but they just bring us a giant bottle of vinegar. The service is bad as well - usually for dim sum you’d expect food to come more or less together. In this case they serve one small dish and then you have to have 25 min for another small dish.I’m quite tolerant usually but this is just too bad. I suspect they don’t have dim sum chef and just take from freezer and heat food. You are better off to buy from a Chinese supermarket and cook yourself.

Satisfied with the dim sum. Quite pricey but it’s a nice restaurant with good service, so I think that it’s reasonable.

Worst Chinese restaurant experience in a long time. Pancakes arrived uncooked, with no apology when we pointed it out. The manager argued with me for ten minutes to explain why I couldn't have ice and lemon in my tap water. At £4 per bowl of plain rice per person, you would have thought the restaurant could have afforded a single slice of lemon. Each dish arrived separately , the rice came without a lid on so it became cold as we ate. We were given a different vegetable dish to what we ordered , again with no apology. The atmosphere was also terrible - we had a baby with us and were told very rudely that they did not have any highchair and that she could sit in the pram. We were sat at the back of the restaurant, where we were joined by one member of staff who was making hacking noises with his phlegm whilst speaking loudly on the phone, and another who slept at the table next to us with her coat over her head.5 adults, 2 children, £200 bill and a very disappointing experience. A shame as we are local and we were looking forward to having a local place to go to for meals. We had hoped for a nice family Chinese New year experience - we will certainly remember it though, and will remember not to visit it again.

Just ordered sweet and sour Chicken and it's literally rock solid. Tastes like wood with sweet and sour sauce. Honestly the worst chicken I've had in a long time.

Like a lot of the other reviews. Rude service, food is average, and atmosphere in here is like an empty school canteen. Find another Chinese restaurant to take your guests to but don’t insult them by taking them here. Ours was meant to be a Chinese New Year celebration for the 10 of us which had obviously passed this Chinese restaurant by…..they made it clear they didn’t care about welcoming us back and that children were not welcome here, which makes it a very un-Chinese restaurant.

We called to book for Sunday lunchtime only to be told: first come, first served. Accordingly, we were there promptly for 11am opening time - the only ones until 11.40am, a far cry from the Sunday opening scrum at similar places. A larger choice of dim sum was offered on Sundays as compared to our last (midweek) visit although several of our favourites had been dropped. We had come to terms with the huge hike in dim sum prices (complained about in our last review of this place) after seeing the same prices at other dim sum palaces. The barbecue pork puff was better here than at Imperial China (Teddington) last week but the steamed roast pork bun a pale imitation. We had to admit the rest of the dim sum was as good as ever. We also had our favourite chilli beef (£15.80), which is leagues ahead of the supermarket version. Service was actually friendly. As we were finishing, people started to drift in, which was a relief as we had feared the worst while sitting in an empty room (would they end up having to close, for example). The customers were Chinese couples and small groups but we did not see any of the usual large groups of extended families before we left and this comparatively small restaurant was still 2/3 empty an hour after opening time. We remember just a few years ago that it was crowded within 15 minutes of opening, on Sundays - and other similar restaurants have recovered their customer base despite all the lockdowns so what's the problem here? Years ago, our family group stopped coming regularly when they stopped accepting bookings for Sunday dim sum lunch. Perhaps they should re-introduce bookings; they don’t seem to have anything to lose.

Really not that good.Ho Fun with mixed meat: blah. No real flavor. Little chicken and a little beef. The. A bunch of squid.Sweet and sour chicken: not bad but very little sauce.Starters were all blah and didn’t look anything like the menu. Pork dumplings and shrimp toast which looks like shrimp croquets.Crispy Shrimp wrap was good.Ordered through Deliveroo.

Delicious yum cha (aka sim sum). You can taste that it's been made fresh - it's so delicate! A little more pricey than other places we've explored but totally worth it!
