I love going here. It’s homely, good sized portions. Perfect for a pre night out scran. Lovely service too. What more can you ask for?

As always, top Pie & Mash and great service. A mixed selection of pies, and drinks available (including bottled lager). You can order up Gluten Free options but probably best to call ahead to check availability. My last visit was on St George's Day and for once Goddard's (and Greenwich) was lacking any proper English vibes, seemed like any other day, which was a shame.

Great food, great service, great price. Go,and Enjoy. Highly recommended. I don't need 100 characters to describe how good the experience was. Just go and enjoy, it won't break the bank.

Spotted this on the way to the Martine Museum and decided on the way back to the train station to stop of for a quick bite and it was worth it. Very friendly service explaining the menu so I ordered pie , mash with liquor sauce and a cup of Rosie Lea , the taste was superb and filled me up. Its worth the trip.

Authentic London experience, lovely helpful staff who advised what to get as it was my first experience of Pie and Mash. Clean surroundings and very tasty food, obviously had the pie and mash but treated myself to rhubarb crumble and custard...wow totally full up so much so only managed a soup on the evening. Great price for London too.

For £6 you eat a pie with roast potato and sauce, very good place!!

You must pat a visit when in the area, the food and staff are amazing.

Very cheap meal compared to normal London prices - there was not much taste in the food though - but big portion and cheap prices, so all in all a good experience, try it if you are in

Lovely place, and great amount of choices, but in a way this spoilt it for me! I love a good old fashion soggy bottom, crispy top one flavour pie! Plenty of liquor and gravy, slightly lumpy mash! I think although some might like the more modern twist, I just want a large plate of traditional pie, mash, liquor and gravy - with a fork and spoon!! But the food is good, clean and friendly place, just not keen on the more modern pie and mash approach!

Still an excellent experience in the heart of London. Give the eels a chance, they are really tasty. Just watch out for those bones!

Always a nice experience! I've been a customer for 6 years, since I moved to the UK, I've been there with English, Italians and foreigners and they never disappointed! The choices throughout the years have slightly changed (and of course, the prices) but the concept they use is simple and works well: mash & pie - with addition of sides and gravy. For the sweet-lovers, there is also a nice choice of desserts ?Choices for vegans and vegetarians too!

THE WORST RACIST RESTAURANT.We couldn't have food here but I give zero star to this restaurant. As soon as we joined the queue, an employee came to us and forced us out, bluntly saying 'we are gonna close the restaurant for a few minutes sorry guys!' Other customers who came just before us remained and two other customers entered there without any disturbance a few minutes after. I couldn't even believe that such a rude restaurant still exists in the major touristic area, as his behavior could be reasonably taken as racist (all the customers except for us were whites). Not recommended however good the food would have tasted. As soon as we entered the store, we were kicked out for no reason. There are staff members who discriminate against Asians. It is better not to have Japanese tourists.

A wonderful historical and traditional must-visit restaurant. Lovely atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the pie, gravy and mash were all just way too bland and had absolutely no flavour. It was very disappointing and I don’t quite understand the high reviews.

Mushroom pie and mash is the safest choice to try!
