A lovely meal - lamb biriani that was not only tasty but also huge! A friend had a chicken shashlik which he said was the best he'd ever had - high praise indeed. Excellent service complimented the excellent food.

Very generous portion of Onion Bhaji. Freshly cooked. Very nice. Came with yoghurt but not chutney /raw onion etc but had salad items with it. Chicken Madras was spot on!! Rice and naan also excellent. Reasonable cost. Table was a little bit wobbly but apart from that 10 out of 10!! Friendly staff.

Easily accessible by train or bus - car parking not too easy. Average prices + staff aware of dietary requirements. Looks unobtrusive from outside but dining area stretches quite a way back - you can sit outside weather petmitting. Good variety of food choices. Pleasant service & have had swift takeaways in the past

We tried Monaf's based on the decent reviews compared to other similar restaurants in the vicinity. Ordered via Just Eat and was notified our food was ready to collect only 20 minutes after ordering - great! Not so great when the chicken dish is undercooked and pink - inedible. I liked that you can order small portions of various dishes so we chose a few veggie options but unfortunately felt they all lacked flavour. We will not be ordering again.
Looking at the reviews thought this place would be great.Have to say didn’t live up to the reviews very slow service bland and Luke warm food.Much better Indian restaurant around won’t be back in a hurry

I have used Monafs for many years, not frequently as I am disabled and they didn't deliver. I was delighted when they started offering delivery not long ago. I normally have a Special Thali which I find superb. However, the last 2 orders have not been good, particularly the last one. I got duplicated dishes - 2 cauliflower bhajis and 2 identical lamb dishes. So much for variety. However, the one inexcusable thing was the replacement of the single, large tandoori king prawn with tiny prawns as used in prawn patia roti. No explanation or apology. I consider this to be bordering on dishonesty and will not use Monafs again unless I get an explanation.

I ordered a takeaway for 26 people that was delivered on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious! I cannot fault the service I had and will definitely be ordering either a takeaway or visiting them again.

Called at 9pm and parked outside. Friendly and efficient staff, without being overbearing. Nice ambiance, not crowded. Lovely starters of mushrooms and chicken tikka, followed by chicken korma and house special biryani. All very nice, biryani portion was huge and defeated me I’m afraid. Liked the availability of non alcoholic Kobra beer which went down a treat. Very poor selection of wine by the glass though. Very reasonably priced. Enjoyed our meal, thank you.
