Shop clean and shelves well stocked but impossible to find a spare basket

Multiple times went to collect my click and collect. Mobile check in service does not work, they don't answer the phone and have to wait outside for a long time before someone answers the door after knocking for a long time.

Half the staff don’t speak English, the other half use that for an excuse to pretend to not speak English. Their top priority is not being hassled. They may as well have badges saying: “please don’t ask me questions. I’m definitely not happy to help. Just leave me alone” They lie about not having things too because they can’t be bothered or don’t know.

Why Walmart ever went into business with the Issa brothers is beyond me. Absolutely ruined a good business in 3 years. I used to work for another asda store many years ago. We had proper training, product knowledge and had to offer good customer service right across the store. I have shopped at this particular store for about 5 years now, on my most recent trip to this store I was appalled by the lack of care or customer service, shown to me 2 out of the 4 times I approached staff for assistance. The staff were dismissive and rude on 2 occasions, but must say checkout and customer service desk, spot on.Training however is needed in both the George Department and in the health and beauty aisle. George, and especially the men's, I actually had to find the packaging and the bottom and top of a pyjamas set, the sleep wear section was an absolute mess, most of the clothing department is disorganised. Which I would expect at the end of a day, but not at the beginning, at approximately 8am. I mentioned it to a member of George staff and she was very dismissive and showed no care nor offered me any assistance. Just a wave of her hand as she went past. As for health and beauty, well, I actually had to excuse myself to ask the member of staff who was suppose to be stocking the shelves on this department as she had been standing for the few minutes before i approached, chin wagging with a "friend/customer". My enquiry was rudely cut short by the friend telling me to go checkout to make my enquiry, to which the staff member just echoed what her friend had said. I pointed out as I walked away how rude they both were, neither could have heard as they had returned to their chin wagging/conversation. Asda was once a supermarket that offered a high standard of customer service, no wonder they are no longer voted retailer of the year. Supermarkets and petrol stations are 2 very different styles of retail. You spend more time and money in a supermarket, so spend the time snd money on training your staff..

On 12/12/23 around 9-10 PM, I had an unpleasant experience at the store. While there, an older man with crutches slipped on some wet tissues near the fridges in the milk/cheese aisle. There was no wet floor sign, and despite four staff members coming over, they just stood there looking at him laying on the ground very clearly not trying to even bother helping him in any way, shape or form, which seemed quite ridiculous - it was if they were watching a movie (minus the popcorn in hand)Additionally, at the self-checkout area, there were so many tills cramped together that it was hard to see which one was free. I had to point out an available lane to the customer in front of me. Even a staff member (who was holding plastic bags like a coat hanger/statue lost in space) didn't inform the first person in the queue about an available self-checkout till which was right next to her. It was quite disappointing and somewhat humorous that I had to do her job.

Awful. Having been in Essex for several days as my mother was in a hospice until she passed away I stopped at Asda in Park Royal at 1pm today to buy some shopping. The car park was really full but I finally sound a space. The store was clean and tidy. Long queue for the kiosk but every supermarket has that these days. Walked back to the car and was shouted at by a threatening guy in a high vis outfit. Then the “boss” starts shouting about car washes and business centres. At a loss to understand I actually went so far as to show him the shopping in my boot. He continued to pester me and followed me back to the store. The security guard was unable to find a manager on his radio and the “boss” was being unpleasant again so I left to go back to my car where I find the guy trying to stop me leaving. If Asda wish to outsource services in its car park then sub contractors should either provide the same level of service and security as the instore colleagues or, rope the area off and tell customers they have abdicated all responsibility for the area. I will never shop in Asda again. If random customers start a row in a car park it is nothing to do with the retail business. If business owners contract others to trade on their site they should take a lot more care about who they make their bed with. Huge brand damage done this afternoon.

What's happened Asda? I was so disappointed that there is no more fitting rooms....why?. I do like George clothing but now the inconvenience of bringing clothes home to try and take it back, it's not really worth the stress.

Amazing store let down by overall policies, outdated tech, and pathetic customer services.Asda is so useless at tech that you have to scan reward card quite a few times before and at the checkout for it to get registered. Did shopping, but the card didn't go through. Staff couldn't help, thanks to unacceptable policies. Waited 35 minutes at customer service to be served with only one customer in the front to be told that they can't add reward cards. The option to add points was to return the items, pick them up from the isles again and go to another checkout again as they won't return and sell the items from the cust serv desk. It's annoyingly frustrating.

Never any baskets by the main door. Please guys, sort it out. 9 days in a row I have come to your shop and on 3 occasion I’ve had to wait for baskets. On this occasion neither baskets at the tills or door. Unacceptable. Exotically for disabled customer.

More Cashiers needed, understaffed. They also need training on how to not talk to customers and get on with their job. Slow service at the tills. Ridiculous

The Indian duo who took over asda truly destroyed this awesome supermarket chain, prices got higer quality got worse, places got understaffed and changing rooms got taken out to make room for more products, the indians are truly a plague, look at how disgusting And polluted India is. Please check your out of date products or fire the staff who slacks or hire more staff if understaffed.????

The pharmacy was such an uncomfortable experience. The lady who “helped me” wouldn’t listen to what I needed or explain any alternative options to me, instead she was rude and made me feel so awkward. Luckily I’m okay but if a younger person came in seeking help it could’ve been very damaging. Check your staff. They shouldn’t be questioning customer decisions/purchases.
