“Gaana Restaurant is lovely if you love Tamil dishes packed full of spices- especially in Koththu Roti, Chicken Biriyani etc. The Falooda that they serve is delicious and is a great finisher for your main course meal (though I will say it is a tad too sweet for my liking, personally). Service is lovely and fast, therefore great for those who are on the go or have errands to run! It's great to dine in or takeway when you're feeling peckish after a long day in Rayners Lane (or just Harrow in general). It's a restaurant perfect for families, perfect for couples, perfect for friends, or even perfect for single visitors. I will definitely go there again, since the food serve is just like my mother's ❤️
Vegetarian options: Gaana Restaurant serves vegetarian options such as Vegetable Rolls, Ulunthu Vadai, Sambar Vadai, Vegetable Samosas, Vegetable Cutlets etc. There's loads more to mention, but it is available on their official website.”

“Decided to try the food as had noted the good reviews and have to say we were not disappointed! We both had pork belly which in my view was the best I've tasted, absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great atmosphere - will definitely be returning!”

“Popped in quickly on way back from Wembley. Only had drinks, service good, pub clean prices reasonable The local we chatted to whilst having our drinks made us feel welcome too. Will remember for next time.”

“The Royal Oak has quickly become one of my all-time favorite pubs, and my dad and I keep coming back for more! We went for lunch yesterday, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The pub has a dark, slightly gloomier atmosphere that I absolutely love—it’s cozy, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff are always friendly and add to the warm vibe.
I had the mac and cheese with a side of garlic bread, and my dad had the bacon beef cheeseburger. Both meals were excellent! The mac and cheese was hands down the highlight for me—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Honestly, I’d die for that mac and cheese! Portion size was just right, and it was wonderfully filling. My dad’s burger was juicy and tender, served with perfectly fried fries. The only tiny hiccup was the onion rings, which were slightly under-done for my taste, but that’s just a personal preference.
The only downside to our visit was the wait for food, especially considering the pub wasn’t particularly busy. But other than that, everything else was spot on, as always. The Royal Oak will definitely continue to be a go-to spot for us!
Parking: Plenty of parking available in the two adjacent shopping centers- St Ann's and St George's.”
