I had a lovely Mother’s Day set meal at the Star with my mum today - really good service and nice food. The 3 course meal was fantastic value. A few of our drinks took a while to arrive but otherwise very speedy. Skye was friendly and

We came in for Sunday lunch on 3rd March. The Sunday Roast is so good can compare to one by the countryside and such a good price!We were served by Sky she is so helpful, friendly and smiling away!Would definitely recommend to anyone we seem to be here most weeks at the moment and back on Mother's Day!Thanks Sky for being so hospitable.See you all soon.

Haven’t been to the star in a number of years, was surprised as to its improvement. Food was great and the service attentive. Skye served us and everything was perfect.
