The main meals were great, chicken and veggie burgers both banging. The desserts were a let down, they seemed cheap and overly microwaved. For £7 I expected a proper sticky toffee pudding but it was giving Brakes

Whenever I have a morning flight out of Heathrow, I always stay at an airport hotel but I have never ventured out to try a pub in the area but on this last occasion, some friends who live not far from Heathrow, picked me up and went to The White Hart, right down the road from my hotel. This is a great traditional 200 year old pub bursting with character and enchanting atmosphere with a menu to satisfy any palate and of course a full bar to accommodate those that suffer from thirst. For my lite evening snack, I ordered the Salmon Wellington that came with mashed potatoes and greens with a creamy white wine sauce and a ginger beer. Aidan and his family had lived in Austin, TX for 5 years and he ordered the Slow cooked smoked BBQ ribs. This definitely will not be my last visit to The White Hart as I must return to try those BBQ ribs and accompany it with a beverage with authority.

Best customer service I’ve ever received. Izabela is an asset to the team and I’m definitely coming back. The Sunday roast was succulent, and tender.

We had a really lovely meal at the White Hart. Cannot fault it at all!The service was fantastic…. Katie was amazing… looked after us so well, thank you.
Nice food, friendly service, slightly dark and in need of refurbishment but good pub for a pint and decent food.

The place has nice surroundings ,free parking and pet friendly, but the service was extremely slow. Unfortunately, the Sunday roasted beef, along with the vegetables and potatoes, was undercooked and lacked flavor. It was difficult to get the attention of a waiter, and when we finally did, they blamed me for not requesting the beef to be cooked !! The desserts were also disappointing and took a long time to arrive.

We visited the pub tonight, staying in area ready to catch a flight but wanted some nice food. We had the ribs, lamb chops and the halloumi burger. The staff were really friendly and the food was just lovely, fresh, tasty and definitely a step up from mass produced pub grub. Total gem for the area. Wish it was a local to me. Love the old pub style and the bitter was top as well. Totally worth a visit.Vegetarian options: Best veggie burger ever had.
