We went here for valentines, and the service was appalling. At first the waiter misunderstood our order so we had to wait for them to make another pizza, and then we were waiting for a whole hour for the dessert menu after we had already asked for it previously. This is the second time it happens now, and frankly we won't be going back again. The waiter, someone called Carlos, kept coming round to the tables next to us and making eye contact but we were ignored for the whole evening, even after signalling for attention. We left there very disappointed and felt neglected. We then also paid online so we didnt have to wait again for someone to come to pay the bill, and the waiter again just checked on the screen to see we had paid and looked at us, which made us feel pretty stupid, and when we left he didnt even say thank you for coming or anything even though he was standing right by the door. Terrible customer service, and just feel quite disappointed as we've always loved going to pizza express

Areas for improvement:- multiple items were out of stock eg Orange Juice, chocolate sauce- tables numbers not out on tables so have to ask for the app- pizza boxes for take away are just piled on one of the tables in the middle of the restaurant, don't really expect that from Pizza Express.- toilets broken, both men's and handles upstairs.

Warm welcome. Great staff, helpful and friendly. The food (spicy Giuseppe and a chicken Caesar salad shared between two) was perfect and really tasty. Early doors on a Thursday was a bit noisy, but there were quite a few kids having dinner.Everywhere was clean, including the toilets. Very good all round. The loyalty scheme makes it quite good value for the quality of the food, somewhat expensive otherwise. Will return.

Just had a late dinner here and had to write a review because I think it’s the best pizza express we’ve been to! Hot honey Doughballs and tomato mozzarella salad were delicious, lasagne was piping hot, but the service from Andrea really made our meal! She was so lovely and attentive. Thank you Andrea! Will definitely become my go to pizza express from now on ?

They're so lovely and accommodating and friendly. It's a nice place to bring the kids, and taking up on their offers is great, too. Brought my 1 year old for her birthday, and she loved it. The food came hot and tasty. I recommend it for a mid week cheat.

We can recently with our 3 kids for my sons birthday. The staff were brilliant at putting us at a great table at the back but were still very attentive. Our waiter Matt was fantastic. He really looked after us and made sure the kids were happy. Food was great. Service was quick. We will definitely be returning.
