Amazing cafe!!!Love this place. The breakfast is incredible.Such a good value for money as you can choose as many items as you want for £11. I go here all the time. The other foods are so good too. The ice cream brownie Sunday was amazing. They are the best, very friendly and fast service too. So nice to sit out here in summer.Only thing is the scrambled is not a nice texture, kind of like microwaved so I would not get that option for breakfast. I think poached is also microwaved but it’s still nice that one.Definitely recommend

I don’t know who the man was that was working in there after Maggie passed away but he desperately needed some lessons in how to provide good customer service . I used to go into Maggies sometimes with my mum after picking her up from her night shifts at the QEH. We would be greeted , find a table and the usual ladies that worked in there would come over and take our orders and your tea or coffee would be topped up throughout. If it wasn’t Maggie herself doing the topping up it was one of the lady servers . One morning we went in there and there were none of the usual lady servers in there but this one fella behind the counter . When we walked in he didn’t bother to acknowledge us. I have always known the staff to come over and take your order at your table but when we sat down, we were waiting. Instead he stood behind the counter going is anybody waiting repeatedly but never once acknowledged us or told us to come to the counter to order, but when a man walked in 5 mins after us and sat down he went straight over and served him! So we walked out and we went to chefs treat instead . We haven’t been back since and refuse to go . I don’t encourage anybody either because of him. Terrible service. It had also become pricey and on another level of trying to attract the people that have come to Lewisham through gentrification of the area and not the loyal customers who have been residents of Lewisham for a long time or born and bred in the area. It doesn’t have the same feel it did when Maggie was alive. Such a shame because we used to enjoy going there and I haven’t been back since.

This place is a real treasure to find, you can't even find anything to complain about even if you looked for it.If anything for the price you pay for the food, you have enough for 2 on 1 plate ? you can't beat in, the fella that served us was on roller skates ? he didn't stop & could blow balloons ?up at the same time ?

I am disabled and use a wheelchair so if I were to use your cafe then I would be forced to sit outside in the weather and the pollution from the many vehicles driving past. I don't think this is acceptable nor lawful. You don't want me to use your cafe as I world certainly find it unacceptable for your location to ostracized and mis-treat your disabled customers so poorly. A wheelchair user is expected to sit outside in the rain, hail and snow while your other walking customers are able to sit inside in the warm and safety, safe away from the noise, weather and pollution. Ones food on most English/cold days would find their food getting cold rather quickly so I suggest that you make some wheelchair access please.I never loose in legal situations and you certainly don't want me to take legal action against your cafe. Sadly it would have been lovely to frequent or have the chance to frequent your establishment but that seems to be an impossibility.Wheelchair accessibility: Seemingly from prema-facia inspection their is no access into the cafe, I would hope that I am wrong but I don't think that I am, sadly. Clear breaches of many Laws and Acts of Parliament

The food was good, but I was missing items. Service felt a little odd, felt rushed to make order, and slightly pressured. When I said items were missing they were slammed on the table. Despite the strange service would come again. Big breakfast for the price.

First time to try today for breakfast and was really impressed by the friendliness of service, amount of offering and price. Great find in Lewisham. Also dog friendly outside, and they even gave treats and water to my dog. Won’t be going elsewhere now.

I don’t usually do reviews but this was an awful experience. Saying that the food is homemade is far from the truth. It’s basically open from the package and warm up. Just ask for the poached eggs and you will see their packed over cooked shape.Wouldn’t recommend…

There are a lot of bad reviews on but I had a lovely meal of Salmon & vegetables! It was really good! Lovely latte coffee! Staff friendly & attentive! Used to come regularly with my mum when the lovely Maggie was alive! Glad it’s still there & chatted to one of the sons! He was lovely & friendly! Said he remembered me!! My experience was wonderful!!

Amazing choice of breakfast items and very good portion sizes. You need to book but it is so worth it. We were a large group of friends and everyone's order was perfect.
