The basis is the Gym CLOSED, Pool CLOSED, Bar CLOSED, Restaurant CLOSED. It’s an immigration reception centre first and on the off chance one of the new residents decides to piss off somewhere else they might stick a room on booking.com for some unfortunate soul to face the displeasure of booking. If you like your welcomes from groups of young men spitting where you walk while either squatting or rummaging around in the front of their trousers this may well be the place for you. I had the feeling I should have about turned before entering the building to find out that everything was closed but I was very tired and hungry after a long day of work . So I booked in and it just got better. The corridor air filled with the wonderful aroma of cigarettes and oddly black currant lemsip. More small congregations of young men on the landings and the obstacle course of brown paper packed lunch bags loosely flung outside several of the rooms. It’s a shame as the hotel with a small bit of TLC a tidy up inside and out. The opening up of the advertised amenities and removal of the uninviting men gathered around the communal areas could be alright. As stated above my advice is simply “DO NOT BOOK THIS SH**OLE”

The website states this is a 4 star hotel but it is far from it. It turns out to be an immigration centre. There is no bar, dining room, gym or swimming pool open. Couldn’t even get a cup of coffee. The room was basic and smelt of cigarettes. Breakfast was in a bag and consisted of a small stake croissant which wasn’t even wrapped, 2 slices of bread, pay of butter and sachet of jam, no knife, apple and carton of juice, appalling. Hotel should be report Trafing Standards

Initially receptionist was polite and friendly but then INSISTED on taking a deposit for breakfast when I indicated that I was unlikely to want breakfast. Receptionist still tried to sell me breakfast so I said I would be more than happy to just pay for it separately in the morning - I thought she finally understood me and I went ahead to pay for my stay. But she refused to give me my VAT receipt because apparently she had just swiped the card as “preauthorisation” when I had already said more than twice that I would pay for breakfast separately in the morning if I shall decide to have breakfast. So, the very slight good impression that I initially had of the hotel literally vanished as I found the whole insisting on taking a deposit for breakfast utterly irritating. Room looked OK at a glance but then I saw a hair stuck on the base of the tap of the hand wash basin, broken bin in the bathroom, black mouldy seal around the bath, rusty shower curtain rail and then dust on the lamp base. Clearly the room had not been properly cleaned. This is just unacceptable in particular for Covid situation. The toilet felt as if it was going to collapse any minute and there was a crack on the tiles behind it. Also with regards to cleaning. There were salt sachets on the floor in the lobby and on the floor inside the lifts, plastic cutleries also discarded on the floor in the lobby areas. I saw these on both days and the same discarded items that I saw 2 days ago were still on the floors in the morning when I was on my way out to check-out; the plastic cutlery had clearly been trodden on several time. Is there any cleaning done at the hotel? The was no WiFi on day two of my stay. I tried to phone reception from my room but the hotel phone did not even work(!) so I went to reception to ask about WiFi - they simply said there was no WiFi at all until the next day! Surely the solution was to fix the wifi instead of telling customers that there was nobody to fix it. It caused a huge problem for me as I was on business trip and I could not do any work in the evening. No Covid restriction with regards to maximum number of people allowed in the lift. One thing was of Major MAJOR concern was that, during my stay I also noticed A LOT of strange random looking people both inside the hotel and in the car park, they all looked as if they were just loitering around and the hotel staff just allowed it to happen. It was extremely off putting especially for lone travellers staying at the hotel. I did not feel safe at all. I wish I had read the reviews as it turned out that the hotel was being used as sone kind of immigration service place. I booked to stay at this hotel in good faith that this was a 4-star hotel. But it was dirty and all these people loitering around just made me feel uneasy and extremely unsafe.

I had a great stay. The room was clean and tidy. All of the staff were very helpful, especially Balbir. Easy access to the M4 and next to a Burger King/ Costa for quick meals/ hot drinks. I would recommend this Travelodge to others.

Although this hotel has a restaurant it was closed to guests, although it was obvious that there was food as several people were taking food to their rooms. All the facilities advertised were closed. On arrival to our room there was only 1 very small thin towel, no cups, the toilet handle was broken, there was no cover over the shower disposal drain, a electric socket was hanging off the wall, and the whole room was in need of a coat of paint. The view from the window was into the room on the opposite side of the building. The overall state of this hotel was very low, and there seemed to be groups of men hanging around the car park and entrance of the hotel.

We had a booking at Heston Hyde Hotel which we had pre-booked for an event happening close by. We were hoping for a great experience, considering the pandemic we’ve been through, which we did until our stay at the hotel turned into frustration and disappointment. Prior to our booking, I called several times to confirm our room, check in time, check out time, towels available as well as enquiring about breakfast. My friend and I returned to the hotel after our event, we had a shower once returned that evening. The following morning, when we wanted to have our morning shower to get ready for our day; as our previous towels were no longer usable as we had a long day previously. My friend went downstairs to reception to request for new towels. The lady at the desk (Manjeet) asked for our room number and was told they would sort it out. My friend returned to our room with hopes that new towels (1 each) would be dropped to our room soon. We were edging closer to our check out time, so we called reception from my personal phone to find out what was causing the delay. The lady said she would sort this out. We then got a call to our room 5-10 mins later to be told that ‘no towels were available’, we both spoke to the duty manager, to explain that we wouldn't be able to shower that morning and but we were both told that there was nothing she could do further to help. I must say we were both quite shocked and couldn’t believe what we were told. Around 11.30am, we both went down to reception to see if we could speak to someone more superior who could actually be of help; we met the duty manager (Anchal), along with Manjeet and the security guard. We explained the situation again, this time in-depth so they could understand our situation better; we explained how we had been to an event and we really needed to shower as we also had another event to attend once we checked out. But we were just told that a single towel wasn't available within the whole premises of the hotel. Anchal finished with then saying that the towels they had provided us with was enough. I asked what else she could do and she kept resulting to a later check out of 1pm (which didn't help us) or nothing. For a 4-star hotel. we were shocked. Throughout our lives, we have visited many hotels in London, England and Worldwide and I can honestly say, we have never been told that before. From basic hotels such as Travel Lodge and Premier Inn to Park Plaza's, we have never had an issue like this especially as I called prior to ensure that this was ok. We had no choice but to return back to our room to get our luggage and check-out which was around 11.45am. Sad to think, but we couldn’t help but think if we were we two middle aged and middle to upper class Caucasian guests - if our situation would have been handled differently. We are very unhappy with the level of service we have received visiting this hotel. Both members of staff were rude and the other times we visited reception, there was no security but the moment we came down, coincidentally, they had security there. There were many alternative hotels around as our peers did which we could have settled for, but we wanted a pleasant stay at HHH. We/I would not recommend a stay here. We fed this back to the hotel and they said there was nothing else that could be done.

This review is an urgent warning to anyone who books this hotel. I actually very rarely write bad reviews, however as this hotel is so misleading i felt it necessary to warn others. So I arrived at this hotel to find a car park which was unkept and looked abandoned. When I parked up, alarm bells should have been sounding when I noticed in excess of 30 bikes chained against the car park tree. I arrived at the door to the hotel to find a huge doorman, I don't mean porter, I actually mean night club style security. This kind of got those alarm bells ringing. As I was checking in, the mentioned bouncer was removing someone from the lift who was trying to get upstairs! In reception, there is some kind of 'residents' support desk. I say residents when the reality the place is being used as a Government immigration centre or something of that kind. Dubiously I check in, thinking hopefully the room is good as the pictures indicated online that they would be. I was tired and just wanted to sleep after a long day of meetings. I got in the lift and out to the floor I was on to find the corridors piled high with dirty towels and laundry. Baring in mind this was around 6pm, so very odd for changeovers to be happening at that time. I walked past one bedroom to see, written on the wood of the door in biro 'do not enter, I don't need anything changing' yes that's right biro straight onto the wood of the door. I entered my room, took a look at the state of it, and walked straight back out and down to reception. I said I wasn't staying here and I wanted my money back, without hesitation they refunded my money and apologised. SO clearly they know it's an ongoing problem - and I cant be the first to refuse to staff. I've read through the other reviews on here, and the negative reviews are exactly what I experienced. I wish I had checked instead of being duped by pictures. All in all, the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. If you book to stay here, after reading all these negative reviews, you are actually mad as a hatter. Avoid at all costs!

Costa coffee is good but staff working condition is poor. They have no air conditioning under today's sweltering temperature of 30•c and the whole is poorly ventilated .

Today I had a very unpleasant experience at Costa in Heston West.\\n\\nThe gentleman on the till apparently couldn’t make up his mind if they were accepting cash or not. He accepted cash, then not 5 minutes later decided he couldn’t forcing me to pay on card despite having legal tender to pay for it. Very rude manor in which he also relayed this information and full of attitude.\\n\\nHaving then ordered (ruby hot chocolate) he also neglected to inform me that they had no whipped cream. Proceeded to make my drink without telling me this information, passed me my drink without cream. I then asked for whipped cream, which is when he made a face and said they are out.\\n\\nI am a regular customer of costa, and also choose it over Starbucks but after today’s attitude I am extremely disappointed.\\n\\nIn this current climate, with a global pandemic and lots of companies struggling to get income and customers through the door this attitude is just not good enough. If your employees feel that they don’t want to be at work may I suggest they stay home instead of ruining customers day with attitude and rudeness.\\n\\nIt’s not about the fact they had no whipped cream, however would have changed my order upon knowing this information. It was the rudeness, facial expressions, huffing and general attitude that I find offence in!\\n\\nMy wife always oversells Starbucks over Costa and after this experience I will be joining her.
