Nice place. But check the prices! $28 cad for two muffins and a coffee is a lot of money. No no being extorted on a trip.

Came here for breakfast on our way back home from Wembley. I can’t remember her name but our waitress was fantastic. Food was lovely & other staff members were great.

I saw a rat scurry across the floor as I was eating and informed the waiter. He immediately got defensive mentioning all restaurants in London have rats. He then mentioned since working in hospitality he never eats out and only at home. I asked him "Why?' and he said "Because of what you just saw". This isn't the best thing to hear while you are eating out in a restaurant..... 5 minutes later I see him telling a colleague about me mentioning the rats and they were both laughing while I could hear them and made me feel uncomfortable. I was simply informing him in case he needed to inform the manager but the defensive response put me right off.

Located in terminal 5 next to the Harry Potter store is Giraffe. At 8 in the morning it was packed. After a short wait to get in we were seen to our table, which had been cleaned . Service was efficient, breakfast was good and I can vouch for the Eggs Benedict.

Although the staff was very nice and helpful the rest was terrible. Food - greasy, smells not good, expensive, looks like it was made few days ago and put into the oven few minutes before serving :(

Although very busy I enjoyed a well cooked & well presented breakfast. Hardly any wait to get in (even though the airport was very busy) , clean and comfortable. We weren’t hurried by the staff at all. Our server, Ramzi, was very friendly, polite, professional & efficient. A likeable chap. Of course being an airport eatery it is a bit more expensive than the high street but that’s life. We will be using Giraffe at Heathrow T5 when we fly again later in the year.

The person whowas there treated me very Bad, a rude person,I went just for a coffee but he refused to serve me. Without any apologies. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE

We stopped off here, to have a quick bite to eat, and was asked to join the queue, which we did. Then a waitress came along, asking how many people was in each party. She then went to the end of the queue, and took a party of 4, and sat them down. So why make us all queue. At this point all the rest of the customer, and ourselves, decided to leave, total waste of our short time available.

Honestly would have been great, service was good, food was as expected not great but not terrible. However, we went to pay via the QR codes that are clearly displayed on each table, thinking this was the easiest way to pay. As we were wrapping up the waitress came over saying “no you pay with me” literally as the payment went through. When we told her, she has the most extreme sarcastic reaction I’ve ever heard. It was so disrespectful and unprofessional, honestly if she had told us either at the beginning of the meal or during to let her know this could have been avoided. But her reaction was honestly atrocious and so distasteful. Wouldn’t visit again, but if you do beware of the very visable and prominent “contactless payment signs” bc it’ll cause a scene with your waiter.

Started reading reviews after we sat, and was ready to run to our standby ( Pret-a-Manger). However we stuck it out at the bar, and had a great expirence! Our waiter (bartender) Joynan was excellent, food was above average for LHR, and all around a nice little break.

We came to Heathrow to eat before our flight home. However, there was nothing left on the menu except burgers and only strawberry or chocolate ice cream. The I tried to get a smoothie with very limited choice so had to end up with a Diet Coke . Now I’m starving . The waitress was really nice and very apologetic. It wasn’t to be so will have to try another time

The service was atrocious. The server we had was very pleasant and apologetic but the restaurant was woeful. Ordered our food and it came late which isn’t great for an airport restaurant. Then 2 plates arrived and we had to wait for the third plate. One of the first plates had cold food with mushrooms basically straight out of the tin. The server apologised and promised to bring a fresh plate. When it came to pay the bill the server again hugely apologetic presented the bill with card reader. One of his “senior” colleagues grabbed the reader just as we were about to play saying their customer was waiting longer. We finally paid and left. Again the server was really nice and apologetic. His colleague was a disgrace. Why do brands under invest in staff and rely on hard working staff to apologise for their lack of investment.
