Have been consistently ordering from this place for the past 2-3 years but my past two orders has been horrendously cooked. The fish smelled, the batter is soggy and falling apart easily. The chips was soggy, it was definitely obvious that the oil has been used too many times for frying. I am not sure if i just got unlucky for the past two orders because they have always been splendid. Please improve what you need to improve.

I would never buy from this shop ever again, the owner / manager is very rude and is very discriminatory towards dissabled people. Don't use i used this shop for a number of years , he thinks he is better than anyone else. I would never set foot in this place ever again. Very expensive , you ask for a bit of free sauce on your chips , £0.30p is to much to loose in terms of showing a bit of good customer services. I asked once and got a very bad attitude , i asked for no viniger on my chips and he delibrately threw viniger all over my chips , and then he , "tried to blame me for taking his attention off while preparing my chips" , and then he refused to serve me after that occassion because i refused to ever go back to this shop. Avoid at all costs , the owner / manager of this shop is all about profit before people or good customer services. I am a dissabled person myself , this takeaway is absolutely appaling and is let down by only one "staff member" , the "manager or owner himself" , no compassion for anyone except himself. I have no problem / s with any of his other staff members at all they are all good people . It's only the "owner / manager's" attitude and "customer service's" that lets this place down. Customers avoid at all costs , there are much better fish and chip shops out there that give excellent customer service especially to their dissabled customers. If there was a -5 star rating , i would give this "buisness" a big -5 star rating that is for 100% sure. I would go along way by bus to buy off this shop and support this buisness , never again will i waste my time or effort ever again. I would like to see this buisness close as "the manager / owner" has no respect for his customer's except for himself. Very , Very , Very , Very , Very Rude Person To Dissabled Customers especially , Think Twice before , "Buying At This Shop" , he has lost a good and loyal customer forever in me. "Any Shop" that treats Dissabled Customers dont deserve to be in buisness.
Very disappointed today with the chips they tasted awful and looked awful all brown. They were old chips re fried. Had been craving a chip butties since this morning . As we live 5 minutes away it was inconvenient to go back and replace them. Never had a bad takeaway from there before but these chips tasted awful

I have ordered from GC before but really not happy with my recent order. The fish was so over cooked and very very oily like it had not been rested and just put in the box.I had to use kitchen towels to try and get rid of the excess oil, very disappointed.
