Furniture seems like it hasn’t been updated for over 10 years, food is tasteless (although the brownies are semi decent), no place to sit so you have to fight for spots (most tables seem to be “reserved” so out of use). Very dirty.

We were told we had to wait as the lounge was full. What we went in at 10.06 it wasn’t even half full.Why were staff telling passengers this false information. Was it to make us book and pay in the future?

I went to the lounge on a Sunday in the late afternoon after checking in on my phone with a QR code at the entrance and waiting over an hour to get it. It was busy but wasn’t overpacked and there were a couple of open seats. There was a good selection of food and some of the hot dishes were pretty good. The lentil dish was delicious. There was a full bar and the beer and wine was free.

One of the worst lounge . The management have not maintained it well . Washrooms dirty seats are toned and food supplies and quality is poor . I feel there are any more service provider better deserved for this airport .

I decided to try the meals at the lounge but to my surprise, it was bland and on top of that it was nothing special. I think the concept of “lounge” has been overhyped but it would make sense for customers to have high expectations since they’re paying so much money to use the service. I had a friendly waiter serve me but then he kept asking me to give him a review. That was fine for me to do but he stood right next to me the whole time even though he saw that I was struggling to log in to my account to give him an honest review. It was quite uncomfortable as I felt pressured to give him feedback right then and there despite the fact that I wanted to just relax and find something to eat. Overall, there’s so much to improve in the lounge.

We used Priority Pass access to enter the lounge, I would be thoroughly disappointed if I'd paid. The staff are helpful and work hard to make the best of the experience. However, the 90 minutes we were here during our connection the lounge was quite crowded. The food is decent enough. The bathroom is tiny and awkward to navigate. During less busy times I'm sure it's more enjoyable.

Was here last week on Saturday 16th march 2024. After a long flight and out our room for 26 hours we had the lounge booked before our flight back to Newcastle.Sorry but what a dump avoid this place like the plague. We could not get a seat it was so full we could not sit down no where was the first issue the food on offer was dried out and in a state we both refused to eat pasta that’s been out for what looked like hours. Soup was horrible and the whole server area was scruffy. We did have a can of pop each and half a dried up chocolate cake thing couldn’t eat it. We are not fussy people so we went to go to loo’s and leave I couldn’t use the men’s it was blocked I told the staff they just didn’t seem bothered.I paid £80 for the both of us for this we had a can of pop each couldn’t sit down nowhere not one seat available couldn’t use the toilets or eat the food disgusting lounge it really is we were in 10 minutes max and preferred the actual airport seating areas or cafes. For the purpose of the review team at the plaza lounge try replying with an actual reply not a cut paste’d general response like you have to everyone of your reply’s shows you can’t even be bothered to answer people’s reviews if I could rate you a zero for everything I would People don’t use this place it’s run down dirty and just an absolute no no no !!!

Staffs at the reception are usless. But the staff inside made my day. Very nice guy! Mr Raimudo Vas gave excellent service. Very nice kind gentleman.

It's not worth it. Not very spacious. In some places the electricity to charge his cell phone was broken. 45 pounds as entry is too expensive. Does not have to be.

Terrible food and very limited choice, only soft drinks as complimentary drinks. NO FREE ALCOHOLThe sofa and chairs are quite old and teared.
