Both David and Stephen provided a good service, but unfortunately the food did not meet expectations, having read other reviews. The starters were very good, but both my wife and I ordered Sirloin Steaks, which were really poor cuts of meat and barely edible. To be fair, this was acknowledged by removing both mains from the bill, and an apology that the pub does have known issues with its meat supplier (perhaps tell customers when they order or remove steak from the menu). Another minor negative was no cask ales available.

This is a great spot for food and drinks. English pubs have a great feel and atmosphere to them. The Three Magpies has exactly that with friendly staff and good service. The pub is close to the airport and convenient. Totally worth a trip to see a bit of history and have a pint.

The meal here was absolutely the best. The service by David & Tim was top notch as well. We highly recommend 'Three Magpies, Heathrow '

Quite a busy pub within walking distance of most Heathrow hotels The food was great, served promptly & everyone made us feel welcome nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend & come again

We popped in for a drink and something to eat after finding out airport hotel too expensive! Tim served as and was attentive, friendly and approachable! The food was delicious and event though some of the menu choices had sold out, there was plenty of options for a nice meal. I’d definitely go here again. Certainly reasonable prices!

Booked an early table for two (7.30) on New Years Eve. Eat well and spent well. After around 2 hours spending in the restaurant area wanted to move into bar area, get comfortable, and finish our night. Sat at a table with an empty Reserved tag - for 7.00. Told we couldn’t sit there cause it was reserved for staff. Spoilt what was otherwise a good night. Maybe a lesson that an empty table should not be prioritised for staff over paying guests

Absolutely amazing Christmas Day lunch/dinner. The food was great! All the staff were amazing ! Especially Tim and Gaynor! And it was very busy too which really added to the atmosphere and the day ! Can’t fault a thing ! Will definitely be going back next year with the family

My wife and I went here on Christmas Day for dinner. We chose here as it's the nearest pub offering Christmas Day on Christmas Day. We have been here before though, but we stopped coming a few years ago, as it ceased to be a pleasant experience. How er, we thought we'd try again, and it was a pleasant surprise. The beer was in good condition, and the food was good too. The service was friendly, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, not that I caused much trouble! We will certainly come back again, as we don't live too far away from this pub.

We are history hounds and it turns out there's been a pub on the site since the 1600's. Tim, the manager, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Added to the history the cider was great and the food was amazing! Great atmosphere, affordable and unpretentious. Lovely spot!

The place was warm in temp and friendliness. Decorated to the hilt for Christmas and gave you the warm feeling of coming home. Food was fantastic. I got the fish and chips and a couple pull drafts. Food came fast and perfectly cooked. I love the ol pull draft beers and I tried all 3. People were so friendly at atmosphere was great, why go anywhere else!!

Very nice evening. Much better than spending time in the hotel. A short walk from the hotel good atmosphere nice food at half the price. Good friendly staff.

Food was excellent, service was great, would definitely recommend and return. We were staying opposite at the hotel and so glad we came here instead of eating there!!

The night we went there were hardly any staff. We were bypassed by staff several times before we were offered a table. The service pace was glacial and when it came time to ordering, the beer wasn't available, and neither was one of the dishes. I did manage to get the last pie. The table next to us had similar issues... When it came time to pay it took forever for this to happen, and as we left there was a line out the door. Heaven knows when they got fed. The pub has not a lot of competition in the Heathrow area, but I would never go back.

Gosip and Tim were our servers at Three Magpies Heathrow. Gosip found us a great table despite the restaurant being almost full on a Monday evening. Her attention to detail and patience with all our questions was genuine allowing us all to make the perfect dinner choice! This is a charming pub found in a house on the Bath Rd. The lamb shank in mint gravy was succulent. The cod fish and chips came out piping hot and delicious! We would certainly recommend this tasty spot to anyone in the Heathrow airport vicinity.
