Ordered a gender reveal cake but the assistant told us what gender it was over the phone. Way to ruin the surprise. The cake did not taste good. I'll stick ti cake box which is couple of doors down. Waste of my time and money.

Came here on Thursday to purchase a slice a cake. I was also feeling quite dizzy and the kind lady serving me offered me a glass of water. I’d give 5 stars for the customer service!I took off a star because the cake was definitely not fresh, didn’t continue eating it after the first bite.

I like all cakes but I have one objective when you sale ur cake please add 50p for bag add in cake but when people collected cake and than they pay for bag that very hard I just suggest rise 50p price in cake but don't charge bag price at your shopThanksBut cake taste and quality both good

Cakes and Bakes assure you that they can make what you ask for, and from my experience I can guarantee you will not get what you ask for. They charge you ridiculous amounts for a dry cake you could get made even better from somewhere like Cake Box. Customer service is just as bad! Once they email you, they copy and paste the same response they have sent and then stop responding. No refund provided also and they would not take their cake back as well. Clear example below of what I requested and what I received. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY!
I would like to thank Maria for helping me with picking out some cupcakes for my wife's birthday on 2nd May.I was happy with her customer service skills she was very helpful and told me she could write a nice happy birthday message on them too that just made my gift to my wife much better.Maria created a lovely birthday message for my wife on the cupcakes I went with Black Forest chocolate cupcakes. They were delicious the middle part of the cupcake was the best thank you my wife loved her present she enjoyed the black forest chocolate it's her favorite flavor.Thank you for all your help I appreciate it and definitely will be back again next time.

Ordered cake and woman wouldnt take special instructions to change colour of cream and flower artangement over phone told me do it online when i tried no way provided for this extra comments so called back and she asked me to lay first so made online order. My message was Umrah and Ramadan Mubarak, but soem reason they decide to do all capitals and did not know how to put enough space and didnt know how to write it and fills all space with this. I have got similar length text on cake so it is possible. Did not lool good at all on cale see photo

I have been visiting this cakes and bakes branch since it opened. Honestly to date I have not had a bad experience. Their cakes are always tasty and very fresh. The staff are also very friendly and always write the messages on the cake very neatly.

I mostly buy the cake from here or the shop near to it, I didn't have any problems before, this time i decided to buy from here as i wanted to try the mango cake for my sons birthday. When we cut the cake, it could not be cut into pieces as it just crumbled, not a single piece had been able to slice and it didn't even taste good, no one ate the cake.
