Ordered a 12” Maltesers came and it was really nice, light and fluffy. Everyone was stunned by how pretty it looked. Writing on the cake was actually perfect, no one does it quite so neat and fancy these days!

Wow, absolutely sensational cakes. The lightest and most fluffiest cakes ever!We got 10 cake slices and 2 cupcakes, all different flavours all fabulous. Previously we got 2 cupcakes in the past and travelled a fair distance to come back today. Absolutely sensational.Each layer of cake has such a so soft sponge layer, so moist, light cream and the cake overall is not too sweet. Trust splendid, it almost feels like biting into a cloud that’s how light it was.Top underrated place for cakes! Will defo be coming back here.TO Conclude…. SENSATIONAL

Absolutely dreadful experience with iCakes almost ruining my 3 year old daughter’s party. I placed an order for a plain white fresh cream sponge cake with no piping or decorative work on Thursday the 6th of October at 10.08am. I specifically mentioned that I did not want any piping or decorative work as I would be placing my own toppers. Fast forward to today and the company outright denies the order being placed because supposedly they do not take orders on the phone (later amended this to say they do not take custom orders on the phone and apparently I ordered a cake with piping and roses on it). Spent an awful time on the phone with the manager and the lady I had initially spoken to but we kept going around in circles with them effectively implying that I am lying. Alas, after a lot of exchange of words and initial refusal to do anything about it, the manager relented and offered a solution that a cake could be made within the timeframe that I needed it for. But of course I had no trust that they would complete the order in time. This will be the last time I will engage with these guys given the atrocious end to end customer service.

Great cakes for all occasions, even if you fancy just 1 slice! Cakes are delicious, fresh and present beautifully. Very yummy cakes! We have ordered lots of cakes from icakes (Ilford branch) and they have always been consistent.Only minor point is that I have recently noticed they have started to charge for the bags to carry the cake/boxes but there is no other way to really carry the cake.

Best cake shop in ilford town. They have good quality, good service. Recently they made cake for my partner. They made much more nicer than my expectations. Staff are so good. All girls are so nice and polite. Thank you ICAKES
If I could give 0 stars I would I paid for 2 cupcakes what was £7.50 I was in hospital and couldn’t come collect my cupcakes due to complications in my pregnancy I came when I could and now there refusing to give me my money or my cupcakes this is disgusting and I want either my money or cakes. They’re going round in circles saying that they can’t give me nothing when I paid for my service I’m so shocked that they can rob people and not put this in the terms and conditions . The man in the back was racist laughing at me like I’m some kind off joke making a pregnant woman cry your disgusting. I paid £7.50 for 2 cupcakes and he wanted to give me 2 £1.80 cupcakes shame on you

Thoroughly disappointed, they refunded half the money after long drawn out disagreement on whether the bottom of the cake was supposed to be water logged. Apparently it's all the rage....They forgot about the order, so it was 3 hours late, which was massively inconvenient.The whole bottom layer of the cake was wet with water and soggy.Regardless the cake tasted like it was worth £2.50 not £45....If you like soggy cake, go for it. Otherwise I'd stay well clear.
