Went to eat here alone, the staff who was meant to manage the queue called me up, then another guy said he was first, I was asked if I was first to which I replied ‘yes I believe I was first’ and the waitress took the other guy and said you’ll be next. After eventually being seated, I went to the counter to order, nobody was there so I waited, the lady came over to take my order and there were two other people waiting in the queue, again I was asked who was first to which I replied again, ‘I believe I was’ the lady behind the counter then turned to the other customer and just started taking the order from them. It seems like they must be extremely desperate for staff but as a nationwide food outlet, the staff standards are disgusting! I left disappointed and still had to pay for parking.

Today I had lunch at Nando’s, Ilford. This time it was absolutely quiet, no customers. I was greeted by one absolutely lovely guy, his name is George and he had a “ trainee” budge. He showed me a table, gave menu and asked about allergies. He kindly advised me to order from the cashier as I don’t use barcodes. Then I went to the cashier to order my food and the girl at the counter actually reduced my good mood. On the receipt her name is Catia, she was young black girl, not tall. Her face expression and service wasn’t nice. I felt unwelcome, like I personally bothered her being there or maybe she just hate her job. No smile, no engagement, barely any eye contact, total indifference. Didn’t explain me where I can get cutlery when she brought me my meal. When I left the table and looked around, then she showed the direction by her hand. Please can you retrain this particular person, I would love to give 5 stars and I gave 4 because of this attitude. Plus George( bless him) was absolutely amazing! He kind of balanced it out. Hope he will get some recognition or bonus. Thank you.

Food was not nice. Service was good, Seating and space is fine. The food was Dry, burnt and had no flavour even though asked for extra hot. Disappointed and will not be returning to this branch again any time soon!

Nice place and atmosphere) The establishment is cozy and thought out to the details) Wonderful staff and waitresses (they are very kind and polite) ordered a couple of dishes (everything was delicious, especially potatoes with meat) pita was also good (but in the photo it looked like there should be more french fries and a small piece of corn, that was not there) the only minus is that there is a lot of everything in the photo and that was not there) the food is hot, and it was prepared quickly) the selection of drinks is large... the wine is good) there were many people in the establishment and everyone was satisfied

Poor service, no cutlery was given and by the time we had received cutlery our food was cold and it totally ruined our time and staff was rude and unbothered with all of this.

We have been to this Nando’s before and it was very nice but this time the service was really bad. We ordered at 9:15 and the starters came a few minutes later then the waitress came to tell us that they had ran out of chicken and it would be half an hour late. We understood and waited patiently. The food was then brought at 10:10. Five minutes after an older man who looked like the manager started stacking the chairs and turned the music off and told us to take our food as takeaway. We waited almost an hour for our food just for us to be ushered out of the restaurant. Terrible experience

Very upset with today's staff. My brother complained about an unprofessional staff member. Who had no manners. Will not be returning. Staff are moany. And give dirty looks. Very upset.
I absolutely love this nandos,Neil is my favourite waiter 10/10.Outstanding service always from all staff but he stands out the most.

I had amazing service from a young lady called Rani. She was so friendly and attentive and made sure all our needs were met. She is such a beautiful soul inside and out!!!!!
