Was there this morning and was very disappointing, we were the only two and it took a while until someone approached us, very expensive and I returned my breakfast as it was completely dry. When you go to a restaurant you want to believe you will get a good quality for your money. This place used to be good but not anymore.

This restaurant is a little gem in an otherwise ordinary high street. The food is always good. The menu is extensive. Food is tasty and the staff are cheerful and helpful. All round good place

I visited this restaurant and was overcharged. I’ve since been told by several people that they have a reputation for it. They tried me out,?didn’t get away with it as I wrote down the prices as I went along and presented them with it at the till. I had a jacket potato with one filling but they tried to charge me for two. I refused to pay it and I didn’t leave a tip. If you don’t mind being ripped off, do visit as the food is pretty good. If however you prefer dealing with an honest business, go elsewhere. I wouldn’t go back. Being ripped off isn’t my style.

Exceptionally busy when visited. Waited for a table and had drink. Food took about one hour before served. It's the first time I have waited so long to be served. Shame because it's a nice place to eat with good atmosphere

Lovely cafe, not cheap but the food is worth it. I recommend the Yankee sandwich. Staff are attentive, never long wait times, all the food seems to be fresh. Huge menu, goes beyond a normal cafe as it has roast dinners, curry's, lasagne etc. Best cafe in Barkingside.
