Makes sense as to why there’s promos on uber eats, quality is so terrible. Waffle was underwhelming. Milkshake was awful too, just sweetened milk despite choosing a flavour. I’ve seen the other reviews and definitely agree, wouldn’t bother ordering again. The person responding to the reviews seems very salty? and unable to take criticism. Definitely save your money and order elsewhere.

Also got a large kinder milkshake; tasted like milk and vanilla ice cream was blended together, literally sweet cold milk. If the business owner is reading this, my question to you is, how can you serve this to customers and think your business will make it far.

I visited Gelato Connoisseur with my Father for a quick bite , I have to say they have a very unique flavoured waffles simply very tasty and unlike any other dessert shop in the area , I had the Ferocious Ferrero Waffle and was amazed on how diffrent it tasted to other dessert shops, The staff were very friendly and the shop had a good atmosphere, not to mention the prices are very good, Will definitely vist this place again

One of the worst services I have ever experienced from the service to the food. You can clearly see how unprofessional this store is from other responses. Clearly they can’t take any criticism in any form. Even if you don’t agree with a review the way they handle situations is disgusting. Staff clearly haven't worked in the industry before and you can tell that it is family run in the wrong way. From swearing to not taking any care when preparing any food. Substantial work needs to put in to improve this business…. Manners and respect are basic standards…

Terrible customer service, staff need to be taught manners on how to address customers- just browse the replies to many of the reviews here to see for yourself the types of obscenely discourteous imbeciles that run this place! Completely inept service and awful food. Definitely steer clear if you do not wish to be served by ill-mannered, idling roadmen shouting profanities at you for requesting a faster service.

Really unhappy with the whole order, all the waffles uncooked and ice cream was like water! I called the shop and was told this is how the waffles come out because of a timer. I ain’t stupid it’s common sense the waffles ain’t cooked by looking at them. I suggest you put the timer up on the machine! Talking to me like I’m dumb. Again I’m really dissatisfied and won’t order EVER! Really bad customer service as well! You’ve lost a potential good customer ??
Really sad to say that if there was a 0 star this restaurant would recieve it. I understand that every business has its bad days but the rudeness of the owner adds insult to injury! The food was a 0! Customer care 0! Taste 0! Food was undercooked and when you bring it to their attention you get a mouthful! The waffles were undercooked, they was doughy and horrible. I phoned shop to complain and asked for a refund. The man was very defensive and had an attitude, he advised they made waffles all day and they came out with timer. The timer needs to be reset, even looking at the waffles you could see they were undercooked. I felt he didn't believe me. My Uber app advised the shop and their delivery person had worked their magic as order arrived quicker than they notified. Perhaps the magic wand didn't work properly on this occasion. I advised him I had eaten enough waffles to know they were undercooked, he advised he had made enough waffles to know they were cooked. He asked me to return them to shop, I ordered them from Uber eats as I do not have a car so I was not able to physically go there and take them back. He told me to get a refund from Uber eats. Uber eats app is not brilliant when requesting a refund, as they can only refund if their delivery person made an error. Not if product is unsatisfactory. The man obviously knows this and that is why I believe he advised me to get refund from Uber eats. I will no doubt get a sarcastic remark from owner in the response to this review. I feel annoyed as I have wasted £24.00. And only ate the ice cream. I will never get anything from this shop again. It would have been cheaper, in long run if I bought a waffle maker and made them myself. In regards to owners comments, who is lying, my bill came to £28.38, which included £4 something for delivery. Where can you get 4 desserts for a couple of quid. Even at the discount prices. According to owner each dessert cost 50p. I don't think so.

The food was absolutely RUBBISH, was inedible, never ever buy the cookie dough it’s so small for its price and the waffle isn’t made to quality and doesn’t taste nice at all pure Nutella from the jar put into the food I will NEVER come back again and deserve a refund

Small family run business with a very friendly ethos, my favourite local dessert shop. They have a great selection of ice cream flavours, especially their pistachio flavour! Their waffles and milkshakes are tasty and great. We’ve ordered items from them for years and have been pleased. My only feedback would be to ensure that the volume of toppings on waffles remain consistent for customers ordering to collect vs in store to dine in as they typically tend to be more scant when ordering to collect.

I have been a frequent customer at this dessert place for quite some time, and I must say that I used to be a big fan of their delectable treats. However, my recent experience has left me quite disappointed. It seems like they have completely dropped their standards, and I'm saddened to say that my order arrived looking like it had gone through a rather unfortunate accident.In the past, their desserts were beautifully presented, with intricate details and a level of care that showcased their culinary expertise. But this time, it was a different story altogether. The items I received were in such a sorry state that I couldn't help but feel disheartened.Based on my recent experience, I find it extremely difficult to recommend them in any form
