This has become my refuge since Wetherspoons closed my local, the Drum on Lea Bridge Rd. This had been my local for many years, and I was sad it was closed because it no longer fitted their corporate image.The Walnut Tree is a worthy replacement, as the beers are equally well kept, the food excellent and the staff both skilled and friendly. what an experience. saw the man with half a head, ate till I couldn't any more, drank till I fell off my chair. toilets are always empty so perfect place for a quiet poo. would recommend

Came here for breakfast on holidays with my daughter. A lovely man named Gerard served us the food which was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and the service was amazing. Thanks to Gerard and all the team would come again
