I go to Bake Street every day. I feel so lucky to live nearby, this is a gem. Their coffee and pastries are perfect. Couldn't have asked for more.

Soft serve is amazing, tacos are amazing, creme brulee cookie is good.A little expensive, but not unreasonable. Will be back

Best chicken burger i’ve literally ever eaten (nashville hot chicken burger). Stumbled across this place and it exceeded my expectations.

I’ve been popping in here in-between seeing personal training clients and it’s such a lovely little find. From the outside it looks like an unassuming standard cafe. Inside, the decor is industrial (aka it looks like it’s been set up first and foremostly as a place to make food rather than with a cafe vibe in mind. Indeed, there’s no seating inside, only blue blocks which you’re welcome to stand and eat at. There are seats outside which is covered.I’m not a coffee drinker but apparently they have very good coffee. Their hot chocolate is decent but I really like their buns. I’ve had the Korean chicken bun twice now and it’s delicious. A hot drink and a bun costs about £12 from what I remember. They have a selection of baked goods too, and other food such as toasties. The baked goods look great but I’ve not had a chance to try them. Yet.Staff are polite and friendly and food is served promptly. There’s also a toilet which is a bonus.

Great coffee and a dirty egg sandwich. Perfect for a hangover.

Absolutely amazing experience. Didn’t know what to expect from the small unassuming exterior but my expectations were blown out of the water. We had the spiced fish burger, and when my friend and I took the first bite we both looked at each other like “what the hell, this is so good”. The soft serve was delicious too, as were the pastries. Everything we ate was mind meltingly good.I also have to draw special attention to the service. Despite the place being tiny, the staff were all lovely, and were handling the business that day like pros. Quick and kind service despite how full it was getting. In short, could not recommend it enough! I live all the way in East and will be returning whenever I have a day where I need to sit down and write an essay or work assignment. Five stars!

The chicken burger looked great but unfortunately fell well short of expectations. The fillet was under seasoned and all you could taste was the sauce which just tasted like ketchup to me? I'm sorry to say I've had much better burgers down the chicken shop for a quarter of the price...However the cookie was really good and I would buy that again.

Nice family run business. They know how to make tasty food but almost no veggie/vegan options! Come onnnn

Small restaurant one minute walk from the overground station. They have a nice selection of pastries, burgers, and breakfast. The burgers we ordered were tasty, fresh, the chicken was crispy. I recommend the burger with the tom yum sauce, it’s delicious.

Very interesting menu! Nashville hot chicken bun was tasty - a safe option. Creme brulee cookie was nice. Jalapeno corn bread and tom yum chicken bun were interesting - something new for my tastebud but it works! We also ordered the barilla, another cookie and the soft serve - it was OK but wouldn’t exactly order them again.

After reading rave reviews about this place I was really looking forward to trying it. The long queue and full tables were a good sign. The coffee was decent, nothing special. Creme brulé was the standout, uniquely capturing all of the key elements of a quality brulé in cookie form. The Nashville hot burger was quite greasy and messy to eat. The oil had flavour but the chicken fillet was really thin, the processed cheese slice in the bun was cold and hadn't melted which told me this wasn't super fresh. A burger more comparable to a take away chicken shop thing than a £10 gourmet thing it tries to be.The lamb birra and consume were really what I came for and it was the biggest disappointment. The lamb had zero seasoning, hardly any detectable spice, and the salsa couldn't save it. The consume was weak like dish water with bits of coriander in it. I felt ripped off for £12.Maybe I had a bad batch. I applaud the ingenuity of the menu, I may come back and give it another go but until then I can only share my honest opinion of what I got. So gutted.

Been watching this place on Instagram for ages and have been meaning to pop by.Had an opportunity this weekend and took my brother along for the ride.He ordered the smash burger and the chicken sandwich. These were ok but probably wouldn't have me running back for more.I have had my eye on the delicious sounding banana pudding ice cream!!And it didn't disappoint! This small tub of delicious goodness was literally OUTSTANDING!! Like...who sits there and comes up with these ingredient ideas!! It was just so lovely & creamy with each mouthful sitting on your tongue & leaving you craving more!!!Parking: We found it very easy to park but it is on street and you will have to pay

Very organized team and good food, particularly the soft serve. Menu changes every week so better check Instagram stories before turning up.Don't forget to add a gratuity when you pay, they deserve it!
