I've been here multiple times and never got round to writing a review. If you want an authentic tapas experience in London this is the place to go. You could drop this place into Madrid or Barcelona and its would equally be up there with the best. The menu is simple and ticks every box along with the daily specials you'll want to order everything the Solomillo de Ternera is a must have. The wine list again is spot on and finally the reason we return is the service, Joanna and her team just make everyone feel very welcome. Keep up the brilliant work guys.

Barrafina offers an exceptional Spanish culinary journey. The flavors were a symphony of Spanish cuisine, each dish a delightful surprise. The restaurant’s ambiance successfully transported me to Spain, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attentive service added to the overall experience, making it an evening to remember. What’s more, I was lucky enough to visit on a day with no queue, but only after a few minutes, it was full. Lucky me! I loved dining here, had some of the best authentic Spanish tapas I’ve tasted. Every dish was a hit. Quality of the ingredients and attention to detail for every dish is apparent. Highly highly recommend! Limited bar seating inside, with a few tables for outdoor seating.Pan con tomate was a great starting tapas, showcasing simplicity at its best. Delicious sourdough, fragrant olive oil, and ripe tomatoes made for a perfect bite.The gambas rojas were flavour bombs. The shrimp was succulent and cooked to perfection.Their tortillas also blew me away. They tortilla itself is cooked perfectly, with a runnier centre within. I haven’t been to too many places even in Spain that get it like this. It’s quite rich due to the addition of their aeoli topping.The mushrooms with cured yolk was also a favourite of mine. Buttery mixed mushrooms topped with a runny yolk which you mix in; this dish was super indulgent and tasty. I loved the different textures from the oyster, chanterelle, and morel mushrooms.Fennel salad was the only dish that I wasn’t wowed by. The fennel itself was crisp in thin ribbons, but was quite lightly dressed and tasted bland relative to the other dishes.

Absolutely amazing place. Highly recommended to everyone in any occasion. Very professional and amazing good. Their Arroz de carabineros is to die for if you are shrimp/prawn lover like me. Service was very prompt and very attentive. Everyone explained the dish well and timed perfectly. Maybe not good for big group but perfect for smaller group or intimate occasion. I would definitely go back there.

It is always a great option to end here. I love the seating by the bar/kitchen counter that the restaurant keeps. Their staff is super friendly and attentive. If your glass is empty they will always check if you need something more to drink. They serve top croquettas, it used to be My favourite. But it still great. Last time my husband got the rice (paella style) with prawns. I got the picanha with chimichurri. The chef’s menu always changes with different options of meat or fish. Their regular menu it is small and concise. Just last time, the food took around 30/40min what made us late for an appointment so could be better. It was always fast but this time it was really slow.

4 of us dined in and selected a few dishes from the menu and a couple bottles of Rosé.The restaurant was at capacity and you do feel it (7.30pm Wednesday). The service was fast, waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.All in all, a good experience.

I should start by saying that the only reason I’m giving 4 stars for atmosphere is because of how busy it was when I went, but good on them for being a restaurant worth waiting in line for. The food was legit, as one would expect from a Michelin rated restaurant. The staff was friendly and personable, even while trying to take care of the 63545288 other people in the little shop. If you want some good drinks and small plates, just go here.No offense to the UK’s culinary “wonders,” but it was nice to eat some food that wasn’t flavorless and beige, like I’ve had at every other joint here.Regardless, give this place a try. Go early to beat the crowd and if you can sit by the window, you can watch all the peasants walk by wishing they were in there with you. Whatever their specials are, just order em. Enjoy this picture of a shrimp (or prawn as you guys call them).

We especially love the little special dishes board which is different every time we come and always surprising in both style and flavour. Amazing food and staff. Although some of the items were sold out due to a busy night, whatever we had was extremely delicious and very fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were genuine and had great recommendations.Wait is a bit long and you actually have to wait in line. But it is worth it.

Fantastic crew as always - always a fun meal with the awesome chefs! Recommend showing up at opening time to make sure to get a seat, otherwise they may be a queue!
