Burgers • “Not been back here for years as it isn’t my local but very nicely surprised today with our take away. We had cod and chips and it was really fresh and the batter was crispy and fresh and one of the best I’ve had. The shop was really clean and modern and it was very busy with customers and take away drivers. Lots of staff serving so no long waiting times. Staff were efficient and calm. We will definitely be returning, so nice that it’s worth the journey for a take away or eat in, even though it’s not our most local chippy. I’m quite critical if something isn’t up to scratch but I can honestly say this was one of the best fish & chips I’ve had. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend.”
Burgers • “I chose this restaurant due to all of the glowing reviews and it definitely lived up to all of them. From the moment my friend and I entered, to the moment we left, we were treated better than some 5* establishments we've been to. Nothing was too much trouble, right from me saying that we didn't want to sit right by the door to my wanting cooked onions on my burger. The burgers themselves were Incredible with a capital I and as for the beef marrow chips...yum... When the bill came, they'd left off a beer and when I pointed this out, they thanked me for my honesty, but explained that because I had mentioned we were there for my friend's birthday and when offered a free round, had politely declined, they would not redo the bill. I will definitely be going back to the beyond...”
“Had a good experience at Honest Burgers. It was my first time and the waitress patiently recommended their top 4 most popular burgers. I ended up ordering their Tribute burger with a mint lemonade to wash it all down. Food was delicious, lemonade was sweet but refreshing. Definitely worth revisiting for a good fuss free burger meal.”
