A rare creative space, with an open minded audience.

Artsy collaborative performing arts space with food and drinks (non alcoholic and alcoholic alike). There was also a distinct Japanese theme in some of the whisky and snack choices. With beers on tap and biodynamic wines on offer, the venue had a cool and calm atmosphere, at least on the weekday afternoon I visited. Hoping to come for one of the live performances when it is less chilly.

I often check out various Cafés in North, East and South London and the good cosy spots and Café OTO is, for me, easily the best Café in North London, if not in the entire city. I sometimes work on my laptop from Café OTO and I've found my productivity levels and creativity brainstorms are increased in this space. It is spacious, relaxing, dim, discret and has superb food to boot with vegan options and an exquisite vegan banana cake. The staff are also friendly and welcoming, they also allow me to bring my bike inside - most places get funny about that.

Loved the venue - very welcoming.

We went there for a morning coffee and it was a hot cup of nothing. It was the first time when I had a coffee tasting of watered down milk. Definitely not a place where you could enjoy a coffee unless you like the taste of

The gig started 65 minutes later than advertised. This is insane for a sunday. And you need to come half an hour early to find a seat. The venue has a good vibe but you should work on letting people in and starting earlier.

Cosy music venue, perfect for jazz gigs - with a selection of records and craft beer on the menu too

Cafe Oto almost always makes me feel both at awe and disappointed. They put on intriguing and interesting shows with improvisers and sound explores but leave you waiting outside the door for half hour or more beyond the door times, then there is just 10 chairs on display to sit on for an audience of 100 + and usually shows start 1 hour later than described on their website. That's exactly what happened last night for a 3 act program that included the amazing Iranian percussionist Mohamed Reza Mortazavi. And on top of that, the lights were so dim for his act, which I was waiting for exclusively that night, I could nit see what he was doing! I could hear him clearly, yes, beautifully, but we could not see him well because of the lights ..who had that idea? Many of us were disappointed.

My favourite spot in London. The atmosphere during life performances is very cozy, everyone can find little space for themselves if it’s standing, sitting on chairs, benches, floor. You will always meet someone interesting, unique. On the day the space is welcoming with coffee and small food menu and on the evenings you can enjoy music with drinks. Good place to gather ideas, read, work, connect. The interior is ugly-beautiful, not pretentious. The staff is professional but friendly.

Good and very tasty vegetarian toasties and a very good soup.Often find vegetarian food a bit unimaginative, but not here!

Visited for a Resonance FM charity event. Bought a drunk at the bar, enjoyed a few hours of music in an interesting venue. Near to shops and two nearby train stations.

Intimate setting to hear underground, esoteric music.
