Lovely Sandwiches!!If ever my train is delayed after finishing work, I head here for a quick coffee & sandwich..unlike other people that are leaving negative reviews I actually really have no problem with the service or the food , I mean, it's a small area that the tiny amount of staff share, so yes, 9 /10 times there will be a queue ( You CAN go elsewhere, there are choices, rather than complaining of having to wait!!) They are doing their best, give them a break!!The coffee is good & the sandwiches are full & filling especially the Egg Mayonnaise & the Chicken Salad..Yumm!Just had to voice my opinion as some of the reviews are a bit harsh, just saying.

Poor service,I had a disappointing experience at Nero's with their coffee. The service was the worst I've ever encountered, and to make matters worse, the coffee was scalding hot. I couldn't even take a sip without burning my tongue. I wouldn't recommend this place for a relaxing coffee break.

The worst service ever, would give 0 star if i could. There is a long long queue in front, but not because how good the food is here, simply because there's only one person working when another two in the counter just doing nothing and kept chatting. Even you just want to grab a bread quickly (literally less than 30s) you have to wait in the only line where people getting coffe. We went to ask the other two people, they just told us to wait in the only queue. Nobody should go to this place ever.

Coffee prices on this shop are quite high compared to other coffee chains or indipendent coffee shops in the area.Basic coffee, which is an espresso, is quite expensive when you can make around 130/140 espressos in a kg of coffee and it takes no time or effort to make it - unlike fancy coffees which have add-ons all sorts of milk and other stuff.And there are no seating like in other shops (it's a take away) - so the prices should be cheaper, not more expensive.Nero is not competitive at all.
Drinks always made passionately and coffee tastes good quality. There was a busy queue today (Sunday) and Nathan dealt with everyone efficiently and drinks were perfect.
