A delightfully warm welcome was followed by a delicious meal, served by discretely attentive and knowledgeable staff. A lovely relaxed occasion made very special through the service and attention to detail which prevails. A evening to be remembered with great pleasure.

.....you have one of man’s most precious gifts – a selective memory. At Clarke's your memories will only be of contentment. The ambience, from the moment you set foot through the door, to sitting down at a pristine white table-cloth, that first sip of a drink and the delicious dinner served by charming, discreet yet attentive staff, all combine to make contented memories. Seasonal ingredients - Jerusalem artichokes, venison - are offered with old favourites - halibut, souffle Suisse - and a well disposed wine list with expert advice at hand. The several rooms, with amazing works-of-art, were full and quietly buzzing with a variety of age groups on my week-day evening visit, which is so encouraging these days. My memories are now selected and will be maintained by Clarke's high standards and consistency.

After my first visit in late summer (meeting a NZ friend I had not seen for 7 years because of covid) which made the meal even more memorable. I booked for my wedding anniversary and we had such delicious food - the kind of food that makes you smile - in fact the best food we’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. Delicious, fresh… the kind of food that is enjoyable to eat. And friendly attentive staff - we loved our wine, champagne and coffee so much that we went over the road and bought it (along with mince pies, chocolate etc etc ) in the shop. A special place for special occasions

We had a lovely time at Clarke's last Saturday, we were 4 of us, from the moment we sat down, we were offered still/sparkling water, delicious bread selection, followed by Clementine bellini. All the staff were very friendly, attentive as they provided impeccable service. Food was flavoursome and succulent. I had Veal chop which was amazing. Definately recommend this beautiful restaurant for special occasions and can't wait to come back soon.

Overrated! Big disappointment. The food is average quality, nothing exceptional. The menu is difficult to understand, we have been told that "first courses" were appetisers, but there was 65£ truffle tagliolini in the list. Nowhere in Italy you can find "pasta" as starter. The menu has no identity, a mixture of Italian and French tradition badly combined.Anyway, the service was the worst part of the visit. We could not held a conversation, because we were constantly interrupted by the waitress. We didn't even finish to eat and she was already taking plates away. It was Saturday night but the restaurant was half empty, so no rush to have the table back. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and they arrived directly in the glass from the kitchen, we didn't get chance to taste it and the wine was watered. No one came to the table to advise on wine either. For a restaurant that has Michelin starred prices, the service is nowhere close to be acceptable. I would not come back or suggest to visit this place.

Simply put, I think this is the best restaurant in London!! We had a truly wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere was just perfect, and beaten only by the delicious food! Which I will be dreaming about for months! The staff led by Sally Clarke are so welcoming, and are attentive and at the same time discreet. Thank you for the most exquisite evening!!!

Clarke's restaurant is one of those few restaurants that you will never forget. I travel a lot, have an awful lot of dinners with clients and can now compare with several of the greatest restaurants in the world. The ever changing, surprising, menu, the extremely fresh products (farm to table, carefully chosen), the splendid manners of the staff and calm delightful atmosphere of the restaurant itself, made it a night to remember. Actually, it was so good that I was lucky enough to dine there twice in one week, and both occasions were equally memorable. A definite must go, if you can get a table..

A really lovely and memorable evening at Clarkes. A wonderful atmosphere with excellent service - attentive but not overly so, and delicious food. Located in a great area that feels like traditional London! Will definitely be going again.

After a recommendation from my hairdresser to visit Clarkes restaurant in Kensington church st, I decided to make a reservation for the evening, the interior is very clean and fresh and the food was absolutely superb,Our waiter was wonderful and up on his knowledge of the menu when I asked questions. This place is an easy recommendation and I will definitely be booking again.

We attended a fundraising event at Clarke’s that they supported to raise money et for disabled individuals to ski in Austria. The food was Austrian themed for the evening and it was fantastic. The welcome, service, food and wine were top class. The support the restaurant gave to the Charity helped to raise significant funds for the charity. A great evening and it seemed to be appreciated by all.

We've had an excellent lunch at Clarke's last week. Delicious food with their daily-changing menu, friendly and welcoming service by Paul and his team and a great wine list to choose from. We will be coming back!
