The atmosphere is quirky and contemporary, though the hip-hop sound played in the background was a bit misplaced.Good to know: the servers recommended 3 dishes per person, we went for 2 dishes and had plenty, plus the dishes are quite pricey (though they already include the service charge premium). The lunch came to a total of GBP166 for four people without drinks and wine etc. which is substantial.”

The macaroni (£7 = $8.75 USD), with its wonderfully baked crispy top, sharp taste, and gooey interior, ranks among the finest mac and cheese dishes I have savored.While my expectations soared for the sticky toffee pudding (£9 = $11.25 USD), renowned as the best in London, the overly sweet sticky toffee sauce marred the sponge cake dessert. Topped with clotted cream, the pudding failed to meet my lofty anticipations.Overall, Hawksmoor offers a solid dining experience, particularly for those seeking a carnivorous fix. The selection of sides and desserts impresses, and I would gladly revisit to sample other desserts.”

“17 of us went for dinner to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. We went on a Sunday to have the special Sunday Roast meal. We all had various meals, roast chicken, roast beef and vegitarian option. All meals were really tasty and well cooked with good flavours. This included vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. The portion size was really good, some of us could not finish so we were allowed to take away the rest. Desert was really good as well, apple crumble and ice cream or custard. The chocolate cake was also good. The two staff who looked after us were really pleasant and helpful. They attended to our every need. I would definitely recommend the Sunday roast.”

“I could not recommend this restaurant more. The atmosphere, views, staff and food were all stellar. We started with oysters, followed by tuna tartar, sea bass ceviche, and octopus roll. Our mains were sea bream and mussels with a side of cabbage and fries. Finished off the meal with cheesecake. Each and every dish was fantastic; I doubt there is a bad dish on the menu. My only regret was not ordering the lobster rice. Perfect every occasion restaurant! It was a bit spenny but well worth the price.”
