Frosty and unfriendly staff. Even when your having your drink 'in' they will try and palm you off with a horrid cardboard cup, presumably so they can save themselves the effort of having to run the dishwasher. Whatever you do, don't order a tea either. I really like my local Costa so this place is such a disappointment.

The barrista didn't make effort to make a proper latte - just poured milk into the espresso.
Typical Costa coffee chain. Prompt service, good coffee. Wraps, pastries, rolls etc all fine.

The staff lady there was rude and nit friendly. She was tapping the counter whilst I got the qr code off my phone to get my beans for the visit. They had no sandwiches or baps available, and when I asked if any was coming out soon, she was abrupt and didn't even apologise for lack of option overall a very poor visit

I would to share my discontented morning left without breakfast because COSTA COFFEE GOSWELL ROAD has a "NO £50 POUNDS NOTE POLICY" apparently.Also not just the policy which is new to me but, by how cold and unapologetic I was given the information and looked down by the member of staff who took back the toastie back from me. My breakfast is the most important meal, specially because I work very long hours non stop and if not having a big breakfast before starting, I often not sure when would have a lunch break to eat. I was getting a large coffee, toasties, croissants and snacks and had to walk off feeling at least down and frustrated. Many places have a machines to check the notes if that's the reason why that shop does not accept fifties. But is not of my smallest concerns why instead a customer have to be put throughout an awkward situation first thing in the morning.
