Service was slow on this visit. Would have given it more than 3 stars but my steak was cooked as requested (medium rare) but it was dry... ive never experienced a steak like this (in a negative way) , it normally has meat juices (the way i like it). Rest of the food was nice.

Walked in for a solo dinner, I was seated in no time and enjoyed dinner. Nice Place, good choice of food

We had a lovely dinner. The menu is varied and interesting. The set menu is excellent value. I would like a greater selection of cocktails but the G&T on the specials was very nice indeed. I visit Cote regularly and am never disappointed. I know what to expect. However on this visit there was a magic ingredient - Sylvia the waitress. What a lovely person. So efficient. Rushed off her feet but still time to check on us, cater for our slightly unusual requests and provide service with a smile. Exceptional.

We had a nice lunch as a pre Theatre afternoon matinee show. We had not booked in advance and were fortunate to get a table as they seemed pretty busy. We started with Crab Maison and Duck Salad with a couple of sides, followed by Beef cheek and Mushroom Camembert tart and we had nice Red wine and coffee. The cost including 10% service charge added automatically was about £98, so not too bad given it is in the heart of Theatreland. Service was good.

Food was good. Service was friendly and the team were lovely but we had to ask for milk and butter which were not brought to us with our order.

Had to wait quite a time for food. It was very nice. I had to catch a train so just had the one course and requested the bill. After a minute the lady came over and said I didn't have to pay for the meal as they said I had to wait a long time for food. I have never had such a kind and thoughtful experience before. It was very busy too so it was completely unexpected. Thank you for the exceptional service.

Met at the door by polite member of staff shown to a table enquiries made about food allergies excellent starters and main courses dessert wonderful service outstanding the only downside to the meal was there was a staff meeting going on led by a very loud possibly Italian accented lady she was critizicing customers and staff Was surprised to find basement room unoccupied when I visited the toilet such an antisocial manager would be better off down there for meetings

I love Côte and often choose the Tuna Nicoise which is tasty and well presented. Something went badly wrong on this occasion when the ingredients seemed just plonked on the plate (see photo, taken on 7 May at about 6.30pm).

Such a lovely meal. The staff were lovely and the food delicious. We had a romantic birthday pre show meal. Big shout out to Sofia for exceeding our expectations.

Walked in after seeing a film and the staff were amazing. Gave us a table straight away, apologised when the drink service was a bit slow. Our meal was brilliant; burger prepared to perfection and super tasty

Service was absolutely brilliant but the mains weren't all too great. Creme brulee was stunning though!

I booked a table for 10 people for my work leaving do. I had been to Cote Restaurants before and I told my colleagues how good it was. But last night, despite the great waiters/ waitresses we got the food was so so average. My starter was absolutely awful, it was supposed to be "crispy duck salad" but the reality it was shredded bits of duck (not a lot), not crispy in an undressed boring green salad with french beans and thick wedges of orange that simply didn't belong there. the Beef Bourguignon I had was cleared straight from a microwave ( it tasted like airline food really) and a really small portion for the price. My friends didn't think much of their food either. and we all had to pay £48.14 each for that? the best bit apart from the customer service was the wine because thank God, Cote doesn't make it themselves...

Delicious food, great service and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and not too expensive for London.

I booked this restaurant to have a lunch out with my mum as we were in London for the day and wish I had booked somewhere else. We decided to order off of the set menu as that was what we had roughly planned to order. I ordered the Steak Frites and my mum had the Sea Bass Fillet. The steak was inedible as it was gristly and full of sinew running though it and was tepid. The Sea Bass wasn't to write home about either. The dish was more of a light bite rather than a meal. It wasn't until the server came to take the plates away that they saw I hadn't eaten my steak they asked if anything was wrong with it. When I explained that there was they asked if there was anything else on the set menu I wanted (it was too late by then seen as my mum had finished eating). When the bill came they said they had taken off £8.48 as I couldn't eat the meal but then put a discretionary service charge on. We didn't bother arguing about taking it off as we just wanted to get out of there. I can safely say I will not be going back there again.
